Cherokee Protectors, The Cherokee Nation Marshal Service

Many people are unaware the Cherokee Nation has its own police force. The Cherokee Marshal Service has jurisdiction throughout the Nation's 14 counties but a mission to help wherever they're needed.

Fantastic! I hope your example of actual native law enforcement goes across the United States to all tribes. The greatest challenge and most pressing issue is MMIW...if only there was an ability to have a nation wide native law enforcement dragnet. The wealthiest tribes should all get on board and make this happen.

This decision is based on a treaty the Five Civilized Tribes had with the U.S. and the promise not to bother them when relocated to Indian Territory.

She is a true descendant of an original Dawes Enrolled Cherokee. There is no law that says you have to be a full blood. What if law required you to be a full blood African American or Full blood Mexican American and you had to prove it? You'd be up Schitt's. Creek! The treaties are all written "to you and your descendants." Not to "full blood descendants." People who are jealous come up with this BS because they have no African Culture or other culture.

In time I believe all of us will see the police for what they are. People are waking up to natural rights, waking up to the false notion of authority. The Law, the real Law.... doesnt allow for police to use force or coercion in anyone who did not wrong him first. I hope the Indians figure it out quick, man can not make laws. Only the creator makes laws.... Men make rules , men break rules... A law is something that can not be broken without consequence. I see my brothers breaking rules everyday , no consequences. Learn your history, learn your traditions, learn etymology of words, learn what rights you're born with, and fight anyone who presumes he can take them.
