It's here where we can see why Tom Jones are a legend :) it's not my generation but it's really amazing.

I remember growing up in the 60s and 70s they had these variety shows on all the time. We didnt get cable until the mid 70s, but there was always something on tv on the basic 7 channels.

As an old guy...I grew up in Tom's era of fine performers. I can only think of a few men that had his total package of a very good voice, rhythm, and sexuality that drove women crazy. I miss these type of performers nowadays.

Damn what a powerhouse duet. Back when performers gave it everything they had and didn't rely on autotune or TikTok dances.

Totally agree. And with groups (CSNY). I’ll go further. I think that 20 years from now people will look back at Tom Jones and say that he was one of the top five singers of the 20th century. The man was simply born to sing. You have to set aside the pussy and the chest hair, and just watch these performances. Nobody better. And I love Aznevour and Sinatra.

Turning 65 in dec, and moms still driving at 90, but it did go fast, enjoy every minute .

Always loved this song as a Cher fan but never heard this version with Tom and I love it more than the original . This was recorded 10 years before I was born. Fellow welshie here 12.5 miles down the road from pontypridd where Tom was born. He's a legend in Wales and can't beat a full train carriage belting out "delilah" on the way home from Cardiff back to the valleys after a rugby game.

Hardly a drag off. They were all young at the top of CBS’s television 📺 city. In other words, the number one shows and stars on TV. Great friends at work, and away from work. In fact, there were few others they could interact with, other than each other. Their circles were very small. Hollywood is much larger now.

Compared to 50 years BEFORE this show aired - WWI had just ended, 1919!!! - there wasn't a hell of a lot of difference between 50 years ago and now. In fact, the difference between 1959 and 1969 would be like the difference between 1980 and NOW!! That's how quickly things changed back before the 70's.

Hello amazing fan. Thank you for your beautiful comment. I’ve seen a whole lot of “RIP” attached to my name all over the internet. This is the reason I decided to debunk this false new of my demise. Late Ton Jones was the one who conceived the twist on Romeo and Juliet with composer, John Donald Robb. He died on the 11th of August of cancer in his home in Sharon. Please disregard all the false publications on the internet.I’m still alive and much healthy. Thank you beloved fan.
