Atleast in her latest drama “vacation of love 2” she had improved a lot, no longer stiff 😅😅😅

Being Chengxiao’s old fan, I’m really proud. Her dance skills improved so so much! Now she’s much more comfortable and flexible in both dancing and making face expressions. Like it’s on point. Perfect !!

Absolutely stunning to watch, graceful, the isolations and expressions were just beautiful, the facial gestures were a joy to watch, the flexibility, what I thought a little bit contemporary dance, traditional dance was made to look effortless but I can't even imagine the hard work both dancers put into there art. Well done I loved loved loved the performance and the story it told👏💖👏💖👏💖

Still a member, but Yuehua management decided to assign Cheng Xiao, Betty/Xuanyi and Maggie/Meiqi solo projects to increase their profile in the Chinese entertainment scene. Her two fellow compatriots joined the Chinese version of Produce 101 where they placed among the top 9 finishers, which led to the formation of project girlgroup Rocket Girls 101 that lasted for 2 years.

I freaking love how those strands of loose hair will sometimes get in her lips and she does nothing to move it as it will ruin the delicate dance moves. She just lets it be and continues dancing. Even idols will move their hair once it gets in their face and becomes a distraction and she managed to ignore it. ☺️

Knowing my best choreographer Ma Xiaolong choreographed this and danced with Cheng Xiao too on the stage made me love this beautiful Chinese stage even more..so proud always of Master Ma's choreography and story..met him through street dance of china and I'm stuck with him..

This is what I love about the idol industry. I know it has its problems but you can't deny it produces some amazingly talented people. In America we once had the golden age of Hollywood where actors and actresses could sing, dance, as well as act. And their dance skills were not limited to one style. Those days are gone here. But in China and Korea, the age of triple-threat artists is still very much alive and its completely captivating. Cheng Xiao is simply stunning!

I agree. However, although Fred Astaire, Gene Kelley, Shirley Temple and the like could dance beautifully, I think even they do not have the classic and prolonged training that many Chinese actresses now possess. This performance by Cheng Xiao shows that she is no layman. She's a professional. I've seen actress/dancers like Jin Chen, and even Zhang Ziyi give dance performances that are simply not possible for anyone who is not a high leveled professional dancer. The movements they can execute are not the results of weeks or months of practice and training, they are clearly the result of many years of professional training. All of these actresses are graduates of dance academies who take only the very best. So what we are watching are not actresses who can dance, but professional dancers who became actresses. It's like having primo ballerinas who take up acting because they are unusually gorgeous. Many of China's current list of top actresses have very impressive backgrounds in dance.

To be able to be on sync and express yourself so freely, yet still dance so gracefully and passionately is so hard, they both pulled it off so well.

Ma Xiaolong is a national treasure. He caught my eyes in Street Dance of China 4.🥰......i can't...i just can't the emotions, timing, synchronisation, precision, speed, facial expression, and bodily movement are all so beautiful Some people can't dance with others smoothly. Anyone would think Chengxiao has been his dancing partners for years. They look good together. ❤ This guy is unique. Regardless of the skill background, His choreography always brings out the best in his partners without jeopardising the plot. His plots are captivating. I fell for him again♥😍. I want more☺
