You must tune your carb with the engines' specs. to get the best fuel consumption for the weber 40 dcoe. I also have a lancer SL with a 4g33 engine and weber 40 matched to the engines' specs. nice car BTW.

That "its not a project car if its not falling apart" made me laugh haha

I can tell you with my 78 dodge colt its was impossible to replace the stock radio with regular one back in 1986 when i got the car..i had to take dash off and cut off some of the metal brackets that were in the way..and even then was tight fit!

I hope you modify that beautiful Lancer. Is it the Bar Type or the "I" type because we have also an old version and it's the "L" type. You can put engine CAM on it or the wild CAM. I had also a faster and fully modified Escort Brenda. It was set up by Arthur Tuazon and it's a Full Race with a Wild Cam. Port in Polish and had a sway bar and roll bar. I hope to see more of your Lancer. Now I have a Galante Rayban.
