how can you not cry when it's Chen?! 😭😭 i've been watching this for quite a while now & i'm still crying! 😭😭 Jongdae outdid himself here. everything is just beautiful. his album dropped today! i think the one you're thinking about is Suho's album. it's going to be released this Friday. Jongdae wrote this and 4 other songs on the album. 1 song is co-written w/ Baekhyun. it's called Dandelion. he said on his live earlier that when he heard the guide music for Empty, he instantly knew this is the title track & created the concept around it.

It's a painfully beautiful song. Hays, Chen never fails to make u feel different emotions in one song.

Chen is beautiful. His voice is beautiful. This song is sad but beautiful, as is the mv. He just knocked this one out of the ballpark.

This song fckd me up, I can't stop crying everytime I hear EMPTY. The lyrics resonate into my heart and bones "We can't turn back time, so I'll hold onto only the good memories" and "I hope you're happy, wherever you are.' It hurts more when you lose someone. I recently lost someone, a second father to me, so seeing/hearing these lines made me cry so bad. I can't even go back to our neighborhood and his house because he's the only person I usually go to and it hurts me seeing those places we usually spent time with. Like Chen said, it's empty without that person. I love my bias but he always makes me cry😭

This song and mv is amazing.. he wrote on this song as well as all but one , I think, on the entire album. One song he and Baekhyun both wrote. FRIDAY, Suhos album drops. ♥️

I don't normally cry at Chen MV's, mostly because I haven't been in a relationship that made me actually feel REAL grief before. This one though...it is just so relatable. Everyone has experienced loss. Every pet owner knows what is like to lose a beloved companion, or a friend, or a parent, a job, a relative...We have all felt that sense of time stopping because of that loss. Hence, this one had me bawling. I don't think I have seen any reaction to this where the person wasn't either actively crying or on the verge of tears. He is the king of tears....

King Jongdae! 👏🥰 His ability to make me cry every time with his voice and his beautiful way of conveying emotion, he's my favourite vocalist for a reason! ❤ This is a lovely album, I really enjoyed it. I never thought we'd get rappers on a Chen song but honestly, it's so good, such a vibey song! 🤩Lots of different vibes on this album but all together just entirely Chen and I love that, for him and for me! 🥰

Even before i clicked the play button, i knew it's the cat that's gonna get you.😂🥺 The way I dropped my phone and bawled out realizing what happened to the cat with the lyrics "without you, this place is just an empty house for me" and the cat's there 😭🐈 listening to Chen's songs is my favorite CATHARSIS...i can't cry when things happen to me and only thru listening to songs or watching movies...i can. He even said in order for our hearts to be filled again, we need to empty out whatever's overwhelming us. So EMPTY is another one for MY CATHARSIS PLAYLIST.

The MV was released with the album. Suho's album will be dropping on Friday though. There's so much new releases that it can get confusing. Meanwhile, Lay in between has also released 2 singles but only one is on the international for Sprite, it's called Shuffle. Aint complaining because the boys are all serving. Just love how distinct their releases are from each other. Of course, Chen never fails to give us tear jerking moments.
