sir I literally insisted 6 months ago that my family installs unlimited wifi in my house so I wouldn't miss a single video....to cut a long story short my parents are more then satisfied with my physics marks for term 1...so grateful I discovered you sir... thank you so much.....I hope I inspire someone out there by sharing that I got an 87% for my physics term 1 from a 45% in grade 11 as my pass mark so you see there's nothing special about me I'm not that smart and I gotta give Mr Lungisi some credit ...your videos helped me a lot sir thank you so much ...your methods are so easy to remember....for those who are reading....it's possible

Listen the most important thing is that you found it now... And welcome. You will not believe if I tell you that I went through the process of having to upgrade myself because my symbols for Maths and Physics were not great after Matric. Honestly I'm grateful for that period because that is the time when I got to enjoy these wonderful subjects... And that's what causes me to teach them with such passion. So, don't look down on yourself. Appreciate your journey and let's win 🤗

Um sir I'm confused now Tracy from Mindset said all hydroxides are strong bases and not necessarily KOH and NaOH for example Mg(OH)2 and Ca(OH)2 are also strong bases. What's your take on that? She also mentioned that bases are not only hydroxides but can be oxides as well such as Na2O as in Sodium Oxide.
@MlungisiNkosi
3 жыл бұрын
Great question... Not all hydroxide are strong. Take NH4OH as an example, it's a very weak base. Unfortunately, in the limited time I have for my videos, I can't include everything. Mg(OH)2 and Ca(OH)2 is relatively strong in comparison to other bases but it certainly isn't the strongest. I have to try and limit the scope of my information to what is relevant for the Grade 12 syllabus. Hence I don't dwell too much on certain points. You and I as specialists in the field, can enjoy these discussions together.
@calvinbafshoe2626
3 жыл бұрын
@@MlungisiNkosi of course most definitely. Some of the info we have is not intended for Grade 12 you have to limit your scope. I sometimes do some introspection and I sometimes struggle to keep university content from school level content since I'm a new teacher but I will get used to it. Checking ATP and textbooks helps me because I sometimes include university content.

Hi Mlungisi😊Question: at the time stamp of 31:49 , look, the volume of the water is 0,8 dm^3 . However When the HCl is added to that volume it obviously comes with its own volume that adds on to the volume of water. So why are we ignoring the volume that HCl brings into the volume of water ? I think they should have given us the volume of HCl. Then we would add the 2 volumes to get the FINAL volume and then from there we solve for concentration. Would you agree with me ? Hope to hear soon 😊🌹

Well I agree somewhat… but this is hardly ever the case. But also when you use anhydrous HCl it won’t be the case
