Chemical exfoliation for beginners/sensitive skin

Can’t go wrong with this hack!
There are some other ways of buffering as well..like you might apply a layer of moisturiser right after but I personally feel the damp cotton way is the safest coz it mitigates the potency right at the beginning so there’s almost no chance of irritation or any unpleasant reaction.
Also, most exfoliants are water-based in nature so keeping the medium same seems like a better fit here.
And never think it won’t be effective. It will be! It just might not be a super dramatic effect instantly but training your skin is more important initially.

Based on my experience I think is better to try different types os chemical exfoliations starting from PHA that is sensitive friendly exfoliation and then increase or change gradually the % and then the exfoliation. For example, from PHA to LHA to AHA to BHA. AHA and BHA are quite strong for sensitive skin and even u mix it with water. Aldo the Paula’s choice is not the best option and less if u have dry skin
