Thanks to the gentlemen for kind information. Since i never had the opportunity to travel or vist the great sacred temples & not read, i asked in the coment in public, which I didnt like at all. Its truly humiliating. I greatly thank all.

Finally a live show where guests didn't interrupt clapping during drops. Though there is one person shouting 'Kya baat' , which is kumaresh sir what i guess but I could manage him joyfully. :)

Mam is in chennai or in bangalore.. some say chennai some say bangalore. Some have photos with her in bangalore and some in chennai. Can you pls say where she lives. Her perima is taking classes in anna nagar, chennai. I heard.. but don't know about jayanthi mams classes....

They are very busy with concerts and are at prime of their music. May Lord Krishna bless them both with long life filled with health and prosperity and You can start learning with any local vainika available and after you reach a certain proficiency (at least 5-7 years of rigorous Practice) you can approach them and be ready to travel for classes, which may be fine tuning what you already learned with new techniques. I dont speak on behalf of anybody just talking from my experience.

Boy.....looks romantic......... was it a tradition there to perform without tops by males......Only just to know the system, nothing else.

Yes. In traditional Carnatic recitals for aradhana utsavams performers wear traditional clothes. Men wear dhoti and uttareeyam and women wear saris.

As to the mridangam player removing uttareeyam, he probably got too hot, which happens while playing rhythm instruments if there's no AC or fan

Your name doesn’t sound foreign but you sure do. The tradition is to wear unstitched clothes and usually only waist down for men. The idea is to be as close to nature as possible and that is definitely possible in the tropical climes of southern India.
