I've been in Cheltenham for a month two years ago. I am Italian and I have to say Cheltenham is incredible :)

I lived on Leckhampton Rd in the 70's and went to Whitefriars. You captured The Corner Shop where we would spend our hard-earned pennies on Cadbury chocolate and Corgi toys. Thanks for the film.

+susan pegg Hi Susan. Glad you like the film. Which house did you live in, was it number 15? That was our family home for many years. I think my mum moved finally out in the late 80s early 90s. Regards.

S James. Have an sneaky feeling you used to live maybe Newton /Ellison Road. My other half Chris thinks he knows you. ? Remembering all of both our childhood memories. Especially Coronation Sq! Chris now in Perth , Australia.

@brookedeecee Thanks for the comment. I really should do a longer film but I have to say some of the places were pretty depressing. Nothing is the same as you remember it!

Why does everyone think I was in prison? ;o). It was just a film I had to make. The question is, did you like it?

I see what you mean. I wasn't in prison but I was away from the area with the Forces.

I was able to do it in the 1970s, not a chance now.

you know I've lived in Cheltenham all my life and I've never seen the Devil's chimney. I tried to find it once but couldn't so gave up

jontibloom Ha, we used to live up Leckhampton Hill during the school holidays. We used to camp by the chimney. Go and find it, especially on a sunny day, it is a wonderful sight. ;o) Go up Leckhampton Road, up Leckhampton Hill road as if going to the Air Baloon Roundabout. Before you get there take a left on to Hartley Lane and park in the old quarry on the left. Climb to the top of the quarry and find the foot path. Just follow that until you get to the chimney. (Google Earth is your friend!).
