actually gowon Nice. I first heard her performing The Way We Used To on the Gorburger Show featuring the Mars Volta. It was so amazing I did a search for her and immediately found Demons from this albums. I’ve been madly in love ever since.

I like this song so much.

Chelsea is the embodiment of gorgeousness. Her talent, intellect, uniqueness, beauty and her kind disposition are stunning. She will be known as one of the greatest artists of her generation. I wish I could hug this woman for all the hard times her beautiful music has gotten me through.

Knowing humans in general, Chelsea probably won't get the recognition she deserves until she's been dead 40 years, like Nick Drake. I'd love to be wrong though!

this has probably been pointed out a gazillion times but I love the symbolism of the seven sins with the girls throwing their stuff into the fire- avarice, lust, vanity... at least I think that's what they were going for...

This was the first Chelsea song I heard, so glad I found it.

I haven't heard a song or seen a video this good in a VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY long time. This is too good.

As everyday passess I grow to love this music more and more. Whereas I would use reverb to, not only create atmosphere, but to kind of mask my lackluster vocals, she has a beautiful voice and the reverb just gives it more of a haunting effect.

This track is truly a masterpiece. Love Chelsea Wolfe and other darker genres out there from the likes of NIN, Gary Numan, MassIve Attack, Portishead, Tricky, Allflaws

The symbol at the beginning and end in the rock, and on the girls dresses is a Ancient Norse Rune Stone known as Laguz. It is the rune of the waters, hence MER. The "r" in MER is written as this Rune symbol. Laguz concerns itself with imagination and dreaming. It suggests that we let things flow to us, rather than aggressively going after them. Either it resonates or it dosn't. :) For those of us that "get" Chelsea's music and perspective, it feels so relatable, and just so right. I personally think anything that takes you a little out of your comfort zone is usually a good thing. But that's cool you at least checked it out!

Pure awesome, the occult imagery is beautiful as well as the music , I've been a fan of this siren for quite a while and her music has always moved me . It's the dark otherworldly vibes steeped in her control and intention that comes through in her music , this is what I love about her art.

So I think the women are doing a ritual to punish their husbands/boyfriends for their crimes. One girl throws coins into the fire and one of the mans pockets start spilling out sand showing that his problem was greed and/or a love of possessions rather than of his wife/girlfriend, I think the second guys problem was that he was unfaithful as the girl throws a garter from one of the other girls into the fire, and with the third guy a girl throws a mirror into the fire and his eyes start bleeding showing that his problem was vanity

Unworthy Unbeliever i don't really know about the skull but there are green and white candle the green candle it's used to help us get what we desire and the white candle I guess could be used to protect the women or could represent the rise of men spirituality

Interesting. The first symbol seen (like a lowercase r) is symbolic in runes as "Flow" (Water, Sea, a fertility source.). The M that starts the word MER is akin to the rune symbol for "Movement" (Horse, associated with the Course of the Sun.) Water = feminine. (as seen with the women on the beach) Sun = Masculine (as seen with the lit candles/fire)
