Always interesting to hear people talk about Fofana and why we should not sign a player because of his potential. Dude has only played 15 times for us in two years. What happens if he comes back and gets injured again? We start complaining about our recruitment team. Chelsea is bigger to be waiting for a single player

I agree, araujo is def a great player but he isn’t necessarily a need. I think fofana is amazing when fit plus we have Humphreys coming back from loan. Fofana, colwil, disasi, badia, humohreys is more than enough imo. With regards to the three Brazilian talents, I’m sure they’re all great, but I feel like we already have their archetypes in our academy. I’m looking at an Ollie Harrison and Kiano dyer, a Donnell mcneilly and tyrique George. Why not develop these guys more, costs a lot less too.

When was the last time fofana was fit? Disasi and badiashille are mid, humphries is unproven. Are biggest weakness this season was by far our defense… how is cb not a need?

Unless we sell both fofana and disasi. We don’t really need araujo.. I’d rather keep chalobah for now because he versatile even .. I think the weakest link in our defense right now is 100 percent disasi then fofana only because he injury prone

I think this was a comment he made earlier in the season. They didn't quite fit or gel together, Conor was the glue that was making it work. But it seems the board are idealists, and the reality of Conor being important to the team isn't part of that idealistic vision.
