Agreed..I remember that tackle he put in just before half time and the commentators saying his attitude was exemplary to his teammates to not give up..he didn't and we didn't..and his performance in the final I think cemented his place among the all time greatest players in his position

Ramires was the reason they won it all this year. Every game he was so vitsl to the run. So underrated beast that man!

10 years later this still gives me goosebumps

I can't stop having chills each time I watch the highlights of this match. That's the Chelsea I miss and fell in love with. Cech was awesome, so was Ramirez, A Cole, Drogba, Lampard and the rest of the team. The memories will live on.

Lampard is the hidden hero of this confrontation. The 4 touches he made turned the game around. 1-2) clean tackle from messi and a perfect run pass to Ramires in the first leg 3-4) handling the ball and a brilliant pass to Ramires

Cech, Ashley Cole, Lamps, Terry, Mikel, Mata, Kalou, Drogba, Essien, Malouda, Ferreira, Cahill, Luiz & Torres... What a fucking great team we had. But it was the way we won the UCL in 2012 that means so much - getting thumped in one leg, bringing in Di Matteo for the 2nd leg & the rest is history !! I just love our club so much. 💙 KTBFFH 💙

Both are extremely underrated passes from Lamps, that is for sure!

To say Ashley Cole was good is probably an understatement, his performance after Terry was sent off was unbelievable, Ramirez is the one whom I underappreciated because we were so spoilt with the best wingers in that space, Kalou, Malouda, Hazard would join the next year, after that chip by Ramirez, I looked at him differently.

This was one of my best nights as a Chelsea fan. I relive it everytime I watch a video like this.

And what gives me goosepimples the most is the fact that I called it. Yes! I told everyone that we will win it after the Napoli comeback. Btw , I was able to predict with accuracy because i saw a fire, never seen before in the Chelsea squad. It was like a "last dance" kind of fire. The players were about to retire without the covetted prize. I knew nothing under the sun would stop them, so i called it, and they did it. 💙💙💙💙💙💙

If anyone ever says Lampard isn’t a world class passer, u just show them both balls he played into Ramirez on the goals in the 1st and 2nd leg. Two of the prettiest passes I’ve seen in football at the highest stage. Barely even looked on either of them, just knew where to put it with perfect weight.

That was a dramatic moment i had seen in football, Fernando Torres ended Barcelona in own home,what a game.

Barcelona 2012, one of the most unluckiest teams I've ever seen.

Barca 2008-2012 was such a scary team. It was a given they won laliga and made at least the semis of the UCL no question asked. Beating them was a miracle for any team. I rmb they 5-0 Madrid like nothing and that was the Madrid with Iker, Ramos, Alonso, Ronaldo, Di Mario, Marcelo, etc... Miraculous win for Chelsea honestly.

This was probably one of the greatest UCL matches of the decades. It had everything you could ask for in a match.I remember how that action in 5:00 - 5:05 got me on the edge of my seat
