@@hashimrahman51 he did lose the dressing room, Hazard, Costa and Fabregas (prolly among others) grew tired of the defensive mentality in his second year. And Conte acted like an ass against Costa. There's no denying that. Conte also used only about 16 players throughout the year, which brought friction to the team.

The energy and cohesion wasn't there in the second season of Conte. And yes, my bad. I forgot that Costa didn't play in the second season because Conte sent him a text message after winning the Premier league. That in itself wasn't a popular choice within the team. I agree with you about Willian but he was always a rotation player. He just forgot about it lol.

@@karankumbhar7749 Yeah true due to recent injury problems. But a fully fit Kante is one of the first names on the team sheet. I do agree that Kova or Jorginho or RLC can slot into that role but they just don't offer the same intensity and class that Kante offers.

Chelsea have always been having problems with the strikers. All the manager before bringing top strikers to overcome that curse. More than half became a flop. The other half is underwhelming. But TT just. "you know. If the strikers won't work. Then the defense can score too"

So that explains it. I've always felt Chelsea players seem more "responsible" or level headed, keep your head down and get the job done type of attitude, compared to players in other teams. Makes sense that the discipline is piled on early in the Academy.

That loss was less about lukaku and more about utilizing a 3 5 2 with no mount, james, or chilwell. If we get lukaku going, this team is getting 3 trophies minimum (already have uefa super cup, and most likely club world cup and one or more of the fa cup, prem, or ucl) Its great that our defenders are scoring for fun but idk if we can rely on that for the whole season. Lukaku barely got to olay with both chilly and james, he was playing with mostly azpi and alonso, who dont provide as good service.

I am glad Chelsea won, as I have a soft spot for them (my Grandfather used to play for them and was in the Side that won the League for the first time in 1955), but I was disappointed. I expected more from two such attacking Sides. I think I was more disappointed with Man City. it is not often that they are bad, but they were truly awful that night and the right Side certainly won. Bayern vs Chelsea would be a great Final and a win/win for me of sorts, although I would really want Bayern to win :0) I was "sort of" glad Chelsea won the first encounter in 2012, as it was their first time and I was so disappointed after the poor old Terry slip and the loss to Man Utd...especially as Man Utd winning against us in 1999, still not sure what happened there, sigh" I never thought I would see Chelsea win it in my life time. But we don't want to be too generous and beating us once was enough lol

Gilmour and Gallagher also are both on this level too. Especially Gallagher, he’s been on fire on loan this season. Should be even stronger next season

I’m a Chelsea fan but it’s true City schooled us. I feel like if we can dominate City then we can dominate any type of football since we can cope against other type of football apart from theirs. City literally play in a way to find solutions to score, no one puts them under pressure to score against them in open play & dominate position apart from Liverpool. Yes we won the CL league but we need to be more convincing going forward to eliminate any hope of a comeback to any team. Liverpool don’t worry me much like City do.

Mind you if we could score then hold the ball at our will thats way more convincing than just staying back praying the other team dont score. We're excellent defensively but we need to be more in control with the ball is all im saying.

That was a humiliating game for Juve. Allegri went for the tie and still didn't make his moves until the last 20 minutes. I won't give Chelsea all four goals because the first could've been called a hand ball and the fourth could've been offside. Also, Juve have already beaten them in the same group stage. As a Juve fan, I am hoping my squad learns from this and motivates them a lot more and hopefully Chelsea and Juve meet again in the knockoffs of the tournament.

From the get go, I didn't think we needed Lukaku, we would have persevered with Tammy , I'm sure by now he would have been banging in the goals. Lukaku makes our game very predictable. There is always the temptation to look for him once we are attacking, opposition teams take advantage of that. Secondly, Lukaku has ball control issues, 80% of the time ball bounces off him, we tend to lose a lot of the ball. He also slows down the tempo wheh he receives the ball with his back. We are a lot more entertaining and enterprising without him as target man. I hope when he comes back Tuchel changes his role and get him play the Harvertz ,Pulisic or anyone else role. Maybe then we will score a lot more. We are currently best team in the world. Otherwise who is?
