Never heard of Chelsea Green until she appeared at the Royal Rumble. I remember watching her backstage segment and first match after the Rumble and laughing my ass off at how naturally funny her “Karen” gimmick is. Her facial expressions, her selling, and her comedic timing were what made her a favorite for me right away. She's brilliant.

I only heard of her because of Simon Miller but I popped when she debuted... she's already top 5 most entertaining females in the company. Bayley, Rhea, Jade, Chelsea and Maxime are the only truly entertaining females right now... although I'm actually a fan of the current Nia Jax

Knew of her cuz of Tough Enough but besides All In hadnt really seen much of her til the Rumble. Year removed, definitely in my top ten

She's been excellent since her return. It's was definitely the right choice bringing her back.

Her mindset is very refreshing. We always hear the stories of the many wrestlers that have certain expectations, how much being the protagonist of certain moments is their goal, but Chelsea is in it just to make good moments regardless in the position she is in.

She has one of the sharpest wrestling minds, without a doubt. Her spots in this years rumble were brilliant, comedy gold!

Samantha manages to completely capture the essence of Chelsea Green in her announcement.

I first saw Chelsea Green at ROH Final Battle 2014 in NYC’s Terminal 5 . She was walking amongst the crowd and you could feel the star power oozing off of her even back then. Happy to see how far she’s come. Side note, the Fight Without Honor main event between Jay Briscoe and Adam Cole at that event was legendary.

An hour passed by so quickly on this one! I wish it was 2 hours long - she’s such a great conversation!

Chelsea was the low key SUPERSTAR of the Rumble this year.

It’s so refreshing to hear someone like her so real and honnest in her words and opinions about wrestling. Glad she is getting her flowers that she deserved in her first run

The evolution of Chelsea from Tough Enough Chelsea Green, to Reklusa, to Laurel Van Ness, to NXT’s Chelsea Green, Impact Wrestling’s Chelsea Green all the way to now also resonates with Matt’s story from a Major Brother, an Edgehead, to Long Island Loudmouth Zack Ryder, Long Island Iced Z Zack Ryder, that dumb “gratitude era”, all the way to the Indie God and the Deathmatch King. Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green are in their best form, Chelsea Green being a former tag champ and I would say 2023’s breakout star in WWE, Matt winning championships here and there. If Matt deserves a second WWE run, he’s earned one; he gets to do it as Matt Cardona now since he’s gained all rights to the Zack Ryder name (courtesy of the Z! True Long Island Story revival video featuring Steph De Lander). Chelsea coming back has really brought new life in the women’s division. It’s more diverse, and all those dumb gimmick matches that made women uncomfortable are dead and gone, it’s all about showcasing their wide range of skills in the ring now whether it’s a normal match or a good gimmick match. Plus Chelsea’s earned her iconic introduction. I wish the ring announcer at the other company could have done that for a long time when he was still in WWE; he had one for John Cena, but eventually it was taken away from him. Samantha Irvin now still retains her Chelsea Green intro, which is a joy.

Chelsea Green is my favourite act right now. I hope she becomes Women's Champion in 2024.

As someone who's watched her since she was in Impact as the hot mess, I'm really proud of her and where she's come. Another great interview, Chris.

She’s a step up above most of her peers, she’s won so many Championships compared to the others, Savage! She is also fluid among her gimmicks whether it be Laura Van Ness, Robert Stone brand, Karen, or even as her husband’s valet. They are all so entertaining to watch!

Other female wrestlers: "I want a push, and a championship run and my own locker room and.." Chelsea: "Dude, I just want to work. Just give me something" Love her dedication and understanding of the industry. She's been amazing since her return.

I became a huge fan of hers over the last few months. Her character work is top notch. The camera loves her.

i was one of the few who was happy to see her back at the rumble and disappointed on how they used her to get eliminated in 5 seconds but to hear that she is happy about that is really awesome.

Chelsea Green is such a refreshing change. I had an opportunity to speak with her, when she toured Australia before returning to the wwe. So down to earth and friendly with absolutely no ego. She’s Happy to chat with fans, it Was a good 5-10min conversation about dogs and life with a bit of wrestling thrown in.

Chelsea has been easily one of my favorite women on the roster. I hope she gets her flowers in the near future.

I love watching a lot of your interviews but I'm glad you got to do this one a lot ! Chelsea has easily become one of my favorites on the women's roster. Both character work but she also plays down in ring ! She's actually very solid. I know she doesn't care about winning things as much as she mentioned but I hope she wins the women's MITB. I feel she's the type to hold it forever and make it so fun to have.

I’m a bit disappointed that Chris didn’t talk about her run with Matt during the GCW but when she and Matt ripped off Sandman and Francine. When she and Matt were just doing everything to piss those fans off. Fucking great

She’s great and I was at that Rumble when she debuted and everyone was like, who was that?? lol I loved when she was guest commentator and was getting the names wrong “Matthew” Cole and “Cody” Graves lol, hilarious!

My favorite character of hers was Laurel Van Ness. She was amazing in that role. I wish she'd bring a version of that character to WWE.

42:50 man, I used to work at the Keg when I was in high school. It was the last franchised one, owned by the nephew of the founder. Now I feel so spoiled eating Keg food all the time then.

I had friends over to watch this year’s rumble who haven’t watched wrestling in years, Chelsea was their favorite by far

She gets it, she's one of the few wrestlers that truly understands wrestling, it's not about holding 1000 world titles, it's about making the audience feel a certain way when your music hits. Stone Cold, Lita, Undertaker, Chyna, John Cena, Roman, Cm Punk and many of the greats have achieved this.

I remember when she was in her first Royal Rumble and people clowned her but I was intrigued. She’s slowly getting long overdue attention and respect. I loved her Lucha Underground persona.

Chelsea shows why this is an art. A lot of Black and Gold NXT call up’s weren’t translating to the main roster because they had no characters.
