I'd like Adeyemi for that price. Gives cover at both LW/CF, is only 22, and every time I watch him, what stands out is his work rate and effort. Reminds me of Anthony Gordon. Even when he's not involved in the game, he's shutting down passing lanes and throwing defenders off with his relentless pressure.

Honestly, the Dortmund player that suits a more positional play style Is Giovanni Reyna. He spent most of last season sitting on the bench or on loan so I'd bet his price tag isn't much. Can play left wing, an 8, or a 10. Only 21 yrs old too

Especially for a player who's entire game revolves around kicking the ball into space and sprinting into it. Also cannot see how he can replicate that style in the prem. Someone like Desire Doue, Anthony Gordon would be better fits for Maresca's setup, we already have Mudryk who can do pretty much everything Adeyemi can.

Sanchez is a good keeper. If you have the ball, your opponent can’t score. Modern keepers have to dribble, pass, read the game, control, build up like a top midfielder.

I hate to say this because Yan is such a fan Fofana but Tosin looks good in training and you can already see leadership qualities as he bins with the team encouraging them through training making sure that he high fives and encourages all the players as they end the session

I don't know about Adeyemi. I think if Mudryk finally clicks or has a system that suits him better he'll be clear of Adeyemi. Even if that doesn't happen, is Adeyemi really the best choice? He didn't do all that well for Dortmund and besides pace I don't know what he provides. This isn't the Salzburg Adeyemi anymore. We got offered Sancho and he would be a massively better choice. Jaden Philogene should be available for less and won't have to adapt as much. Jack Clarke wouldn't be a bad choice either. Honestly the best thing about Adeyemi might be that he'll slot in as a backup to Mudryk because as of right now I can't see how Adeyemi starts for us. And if he really is a backup then I'm pretty fine with signing him.

I prefer Summerville but my way of evaluating players is just looking at their raw stats and highlights I'm hoping that the scouts are using much more sophisticated data when looking at these players I'm okay with him immensely developing I think we have this idea that by 22 they are the player who they're going to be and it's just not true especially in an attacking sense

I watch the bundesliga and he would not fit the style chelsea are going to play at all. The Bundesliga is tailor made for his play style and he's good but not unbelievable. He could possibly cook in the PL for a Brentford or a Palace but doubt he'd make that sort of move

Adeyemi for 25mil is a snip. Get him. Looks a much more tactically astute player than Mudryk.

Want to be positive and excited about the squad this season Yan but with a new gaffer, so many new players, so much uncertainty about who’s going to play and who’s not, pretty sure we’ll take one step forward and two back. Adeyemi seems a little headless at times. Only seen him a few times , seems like an honest worker , but the final ball looks to be lacking .
I hate to say this because Yan is such a fan Fofana but Tosin looks good in training and you can already see leadership qualities as he bins with the team encouraging them through training making sure that he high fives and encourages all the players as they end the session
I don't know about Adeyemi. I think if Mudryk finally clicks or has a system that suits him better he'll be clear of Adeyemi. Even if that doesn't happen, is Adeyemi really the best choice? He didn't do all that well for Dortmund and besides pace I don't know what he provides. This isn't the Salzburg Adeyemi anymore. We got offered Sancho and he would be a massively better choice. Jaden Philogene should be available for less and won't have to adapt as much. Jack Clarke wouldn't be a bad choice either. Honestly the best thing about Adeyemi might be that he'll slot in as a backup to Mudryk because as of right now I can't see how Adeyemi starts for us. And if he really is a backup then I'm pretty fine with signing him.

@@Bobbywoodhogan Nah, I just keep reading how people are so excited for ANOTHER new mgr. I don't h derstand this...if things go badly, everyone will be calling for him to be sacked. I'm sick of it...we need to stick things out and stop changing. Poch proved, what no other recent Mgr could, and with a young team full of injuries....that we could play attractive ball and win. My fear is that we play "keep away" but with no attacking which puts us back to Harry Potter failures. That's all

We are now officially the new "Ajax" of England. Our MO is to buy young players on a cheap, develop them and flip the good ones for a quick buck.
I prefer Summerville but my way of evaluating players is just looking at their raw stats and highlights I'm hoping that the scouts are using much more sophisticated data when looking at these players I'm okay with him immensely developing I think we have this idea that by 22 they are the player who they're going to be and it's just not true especially in an attacking sense

Loan swap, Adeyemi for Mudryk. Dortmund is a good place for players to blossom, note Sancho, Maatsen, Bellingham etc. Option to buy for us.

I'm a lot more optimistic about maresca then I was when pochettino first came in
Adeyemi, meh. He's young, but has been around as a regular starter long enough to have made a bigger impact beyond carrying the ball. I'm not sure he's the type of player that will add dimensions to his game in a tougher league.
I find this redundant with Mudryk on the team
I watch the bundesliga and he would not fit the style chelsea are going to play at all. The Bundesliga is tailor made for his play style and he's good but not unbelievable. He could possibly cook in the PL for a Brentford or a Palace but doubt he'd make that sort of move

I especially understand it is supposed to be an entertainment, and watching a team make 27 passes in their own half and take it back over the half way line continuously because apparently attempting a risky pass in considered a sin, is not entertaining.
