His contributions to Chelsea goals were often underrated. Yes he didn’t score much but his contribution to many attacks was good

He had his moments. That start of the season was perhaps his best spell at Chelsea. At the end of the 2012 13 he was terrible again but his numbers were decent. Bad player for Chelsea but he won, thats enough

Overall he did poorly, considering how much was payed for him, but I absolutely loved him when he was used as a False 9 in a few games.

HAA.. no really..he was needed in every game he played.. he played well in 10% of his time at chelsea.. Chelsea could never challenge for a title or achieve top four in the torres era because he was so bad.

Makes no sense why he was sold when we played near 65 games that season and he was a decent player. All we had was Mikel, an old Lampard and Ramires in midfield. Essien was also sent out on loan.

yeah was stupid selling him for a measly £8m or so, especially when he played so well in this game. That's what forced Rafa to play Luiz in midfield. Worked ok in the end but could have gone badly wrong.
Torres was an absolute beast in this game

Torres is familiar with long passes, running and passing the defenders. Chelsea doesn't play that way. At the time he was there, many midfielders couldn't deliver long passes, played slowly, decided to pass slowly and Torres had to face many defenders in near distances, It's okay with Drogba but not Torres style. As time goes by, other Chelsea players rarely pass to Torres but they decided to score themselves...
