there is something beautiful about the lighting and color grade. Observe it, there are three colors in each frame upper,middle and lower. Its like bit of vignette and polaroid flush.I think Aditi's friend brings the VHS and they watch it, so technically Karthis choreography portions are graded like VHS filters. Mani Ratnam makes movies so real. You have to forget everything and watch it with utmost concentration.
