Dear friends, today I am going to share with you a very popular Sichuan dish “Yuxiang Style Shredded Pork”. Though I have explained before why we call this sauce “Yuxiang” (literally "fish flavor"), I am going to explain it a bit here. We call it "fish flavor" not because it tastes like fish, but because this is the sauce we traditionally use in Sichuan Cuisine to cook fish. This is why “Yuxiang Shredded Pork”, “Yuxiang Eggplant” and other dishes do not have fish in the dish. In this video I am going to share with you a very popular homestyle recipe. For the English speakers who might want to try this dish at a local Chinese restaurant, (they'll have it unless they're called XXX Wok or some shit), the dish is usually called Shredded Pork in Garlic Sauce or Fish Flavored Shredded Pork. etc. Or you can learn Chinese and order like a boss!!

@@SaraHovera As an alternative, you can simply sear the skin on a hot pan or wok. A non-stick would work nice.

There's rarely any reason to wash western meat, it's usually quite clean and the source and quality is known. There's less regulations in China.

This dish is literally my birthday tradition at this point 😂 Every time it's my birthday, I have this dish. Been over a decade now. It's because since childhood, it was my favourite dish. And now even if there are other good things to eat, I got so used to getting it on my birthday I still love it!

中餐讲究的就是色、香、味俱全 色:首先成菜颜色要好看,能勾起食欲 香:然后菜的香味让人忍不住拿起筷子 味:入口能吃出这道菜的精髓,美哉!

@@choyawong7793 你不喜欢谁是你个人的权力,但我必须要指出你价值观中的错误。做自媒体想红不是什么应该被诟病的事情,选择“网红”作为职业的人也不应该受到鄙视。就跟在娱乐圈打拼的艺人一样,他们所做的也不过是休闲娱乐传媒相关的内容,并没有值得被人看不起的点。可能你只是还没习惯网络自媒体的时代,但请不要继续用你落后偏见的眼光去看待所谓的“网红”,这样做就如同用旧时代的眼光,将演员这个职业称作“名伶戏子”一样,徒引人发笑耳。
