Chef Steve "sweetens the pot" with an appetizing gamble! Baked homemade french fries! That's right, #baked, not fried! And the gamble pays off with a mouthwatering feast of #french #fries to enjoy - made far healthier and tastier than those found in your usual fast food joints!
You can of course slice up the #potatoes on your own with a kitchen knife, however in this video Chef Steve demonstrates the relatively inexpensive "french fry slicer" which is the perfect tool for the job here. Watch and learn as the slicer goes to work on our potatoes, making those ever so perfect cuts.
A light coating of canola oil into the pan, old bay #crab seasoning, pepper, and a touch of #dill... delivers the perfect compliments for creating our savory french fries!
And if that's not enough... the new Chef Steve 'Bonus Dish' will double down on that fine bounty! As we had some leftover potatoes to use, anticipate a delightful #golden potato based entrée which goes hand-in-hand with our french fries.
This is not a spicy dish. The oil content used is low but present. Also, the sodium content should be relatively low, however adding a little salt to the fries afterwards is something I personally prefer for mine.
