Dare not say Bourdain. CR is pretty good in his own way but not a fair comparison to the GOAT. RIP Tony.
Damn. Calling them rude ass employees out. 😂
Douche Bag Chefs Plating Tweezers......that got me laughing! Perfect 😂
Wicked was awesome. Ess-a-bagel tip, go wait in line you impatient jerk, get a dozen (bulk orders can skip the deli line) and enjoy the bagels hot out of the oven. Like Montreal, it's the best way to have the bagels... still warm. Also, get a better EPL team. Liverpool are the kings of Europe. Best Arsenal pick up line, "I start on top and finish second"... good luck and I love your content...
so happy to see Chef wandering around in my city! love your videos. and you're right, the more you can do for free the better. the park is my favorite oasis. and its not a pro tip by any means, but I always look at the caesar salad price as a gauge when deciding where to eat. $34 at carbone?? no freaking way, man. hope you had a good time overall!

I love your content. You’ve come a long way since your first TikToks and you’ve carved yourself a nice little niche with these city tours; your best content IMHO. Keep it up.
This is the first time that I feel like I got an honest review of NY. Well done 👍 😎
Love your “Portlandia “ vibe videos, really look forward to them. Keep it up Chef!
Ha! 100% with you on Times Square. We were in NYC (stayed in Manhattan, Battery Park to be specific) for New Years Eve, and we went over to Prospect Park in Brooklyn for fireworks, etc. Had a blast!! 10/10, would recommend. I love NYC. Glad you finally got to see it!
So glad you enjoyed the city. Summer is a fantastic time in NYC.
my favorite part was the crystals joke. excellent content as always
Man I absolutely love your content man! As someone who's worked in the industry....it's amazing to see someone f#$%ing kill it on tiktok (and eventually KZread). Keep it up!
"get the fuck outta there.. i didn't" killed me, another great vid
That Empanada Mama is literally around the corner from me. Great hangover meals. I love seeing tourist visits of my hometown. I'm surprised Chef Reactions has never been here before. I've been here forever and he seems like a NYC guy.
Great video, great tips. I would love to see you reacting to clips from The Bear, as it's my only other exposure to the BOH perspective, certainly at the fine cuisine level. Some of us live a couple thousand miles from the nearest Michelin-rated establishment. But if you're ever in Anchorage, you can probably find a couple solid 7 and 8s. Thanks, Chef!
I feel like just the variety and quality just speaks to how awesome the food scene is in NYC. Always loved eating there whenever I visit my fam up there. Someday we’ll have to get you down to Houston to compare, the food here is amazing!
I would hope someone at HBOMAX is paying attention. I love Bourdain, and Mr. Reactions is probably the best thing I’ve found since Tony’s passing. Love this dude so much.
Dope stuff chef!!! Keep them coming!!
Love this! Thanks Chef. ❤
Hey Chef. Just want you to know I can no longer say herbs like a normal f*cking person, thanks to you. Not saying that's a bad thing, but it definitely caught my mom off guard when she visited last weekend. I think she thought I was having a stroke. Love your content.

Chef! Thanks for visiting my city. I'm a NYC native and it's always neat seeing what others do when they visit. I haven't been to any of the restaurants you checked out (heard of them though), so that was a plus. I value your genuine reviews. Hope you come back, would love to see what you think of our other boroughs. Queens is food heaven, if you love reasonably priced, under appreciated, delicious, and diverse cuisine.

Excellent visit to my hometown chef! I also legit thought you were a New Yorker❤ You hit a lot of good highlights for a first visit. One tiny recommendation is if you're interested to visit the UN. I just went recently again and really liked the tour. For foody things I know you have connections but I really like Here Be Barr's KZread channel, and F*ck That's Delicious for some great ethnic food recommendations.

I would give this video and 10 out of 10. I would watch another.
Barney Greengrass is outstanding...I think that we ordered a little bit of everything. Next time try grabbing lunch at Papaya King...great hot dogs.
Love the title song!
1) "Ess" is Yiddish for "eat." I don't know when bagels became big and fluffy. Leo Rosten, in his book "The Joys of Yiddish," describes a bagel as "tough as a snow tire." In my book, a bagel that's bigger than 4-5" wide and maybe 1-1/2" tall is not a bagel, it's a kiddie pool innertube. 2) Re: Museum of Modern Art: It proves that art is anything you can get away with. 3) 28 bucks to get into the Museum of Natural History? I remember when it was free. I guess rich tech bros aren't doing the kind of philanthropy that billionaires used to do. 4) "Caribbean fine dining" is an oxymoron. Caribbean fine dining is fresh fish caught that afternoon by the guy on the snorkel boat who invites you to dinner on the beach later and feeds you that fish with rice and vegetables cooked in a Dutchie as the sun sets on 7-mile beach in Negril, Jamaica, and it's the best dinner of your life. 5) I was surprised not to see Katz' Deli here, given that you went to Chinatown/Little Italy. But then, you ARE a contrarian sort...
Look at you Chef rockin a a Lou Gehrig jersey.
Is mrs. Reactions shooting these?? If so she’s killing it. Loved the museum shots of you standing in front of the art
Fall or spring is better time in nyc, not as hot so doesn't smell as much like garbage and pee. Where were you visiting from chef? Love your videos!
Hit up a halal kart. Great video. Always love your legit critiques. Down to earth realistic.
Katz deli is an absolute must!!!!!
Nice video, Chef. Though Carnegie Diner isn't a famous tourist spot. The Carnegie Deli which was in business for 75+ years was well known. They closed a while back.
“Birds can fuck right off. Fuck birds” 😂😂😂😂 Agree. This should be in the Bible or whatever.
i’d pay to watch a 30 minute daily show of you traveling the US. fucking golden 🤙
Thanks for an honest review of New York ! Mercado Little Spain owes you an apology for the rude Service! 🤨
Good video, less museums more food. 9/10 would recommend.
10-10 as always
Agree 💯% about Carbone's.
Next time in Chinatown you gotta hit up super taste on Eldridge! Their hand pulled noodles and dumplings are some of the best in Chinatown.
Tatiana is one of New York's hottest restaurants. C'mon chef. You should have followed up on that "This place has everything..." Saludos desde Tijuana!
A theme song?? Look at you!! ❤
There’s a Netflix series here….it’s giving young wiseass Phil Rosenthal.

Now i would never insist theyre the reason to visit, but there are some absolutely gorgeous cathedrals here in STL. It helps that the city is historically hella Catholic. That being said we got some great food too. Idk about the super fancy stuff bc im a broke ass part time pastor, but when it comes smaller/hole-in-the-wall places we've got you covered.

One thing I love about STL is that they set up the museum district so there are no admission fees for local or out-of-towners with locals. Even if you do have to pay admission the lines aren't hella long. The best thing I ate there isn't from a restaurant. It was chargrilled pork steaks. Supermarkets and butcher shops outside of the Lou try to pass off sliced pork butt but it's not the same. Chef's take on toasted ravioli would be salty but there is great Italian fare on the Hill. Plus Chef would love the Eastern European food.
Come to Boston!
Thank you for putting respect on New Jersey. So many visit American dream and MetLife and consider it Nyc it’s annoying I’m a New Jerseyian
Next time you’re in NYC lemme send you some recs for better hat stores with rare cool stuff!
I'd rather walk around Skid Row barefoot in the middle of the night than ever go back to Times Square. Fuck that place indeed.

At the start of the video when you introduced yourself I thought you said "this is Jeffrey Actions" lol Admit it...your voice was effed on the second day because you sang along to the entirety of Wicked.
