I love how you both talk to Gerda and Messi like they are humans, explaining why you do the things you do. I doubt they understand everything but I feel like they love the respect you show them. You show amazing respect for them as individual beings. Some critics get upset when I refer to you as their parents and I do not understand why they are so offended. Most animal lovers feel like their animals are members of the family, and clearly Gerda and Messi respond so well to the way you treat them! Perfect! Thank you.

And also mosquitoes, flies and other terrible and terrible six-legged ... No, in winter it is quiet, calm, stable. If winter is good, not warm with rain. Several years ago there was a New Year without snow. In Moscow! Christmas trees in the rain are unpleasant.

Герда не привыкла к поводку. Ошейник она воспринимает как должное, а вот поводок ей не нравится. Может быть ей сам принцип рулетки неприятен. Может стоит попробовать просто поводок. Хотя Герда - кошка гордая. Ей больше нравится просто гулять рядом с Сашей и Машей. Герда - самая обаятельная и очаровательная Гепардесса.

Многовато неожиданностей за один раз для Герды. Забора нет, чужая неизвестная территория к которой даже дорожки нет. Ограничивающий свободу движения забытый поводок. И родители чего то от неё ждут, активно хотят отвести по снегу в неизвестность. Короче у кошки шок, надо вернуться восвояси и спокойно всё обдумать!

Gerda is always so lovely and a princess..

Gerda is from Africa where there is no snow and even though she spent time in Sochi Zoo, she has never liked the cold nor the touch of the snow on her paw pads, and now it's back... She is smart in sticking to areas where Sasha has shoveled and where snow has been blocked from falling and covering... Her curiosity about the "world beyond the fence" is interesting and she might have started exploring ( with Masha in tow ) if there was no snow...😉🤔🙂 And Gerda was very happy to go into her heated room ! 😉😊

There is really no snow in Africa, but in winter the temperature there drops to -7 °C/19.4°F

@@ekaterinalevicheva5768 Hi ! I watch The Lion Whisperer and am aware that it can get quite cold there which is why she has a "winter coat"... I was referring to her avoidance of snow at any cost... Which I liken to we humans walking on snow, ice, and slush in our bare feet ! Since there is no snow, the cheetahs' paws never developed the additional fur necessary for walking on snow, etc. One look at Messi's paws and those of lynxes, etc. are made for doing so...

@@dalemcnamee2427 Gerda has a thick underfur on the threshold of winter, Masha showed it. But, of course, Gerda is less adapted to winter than the puma. Although cheetahs live well in the Novosibirsk Zoo, they run in the snow.

Gerda lived at the zoo for 8 years. The soil in the aviary was compacted. Gerda is afraid of soft surfaces, she doesn't like it. She was afraid to walk on the sand in her aviary, on the grass. Now I'm used to it. But the snow is soft, cold and wet. This is too ... 😸

I think a very good idea would be for the Russian government to make Sasha, Masha, Messi, and Gerda honorary Russian goodwill ambassadors and send them around the world promoting their country and the great need for people to get involved and volunteer their money and services to help place into good care wild animals that are kept in similar situations from which Messi and Gerda came before they were placed into the dream home/family of Masha and Sasha. These two are like earth angels caring for these precious cats and I love them all!!🥰😘😻🐈🐆
