Cheerleader dropped HARD ! ... You'll never guess what happens!

The worst part about this video it is how long it takes everyone to figure out the flyer is hurt. I guess the crying and fetal position isn't enough. It's weird because everyone is normally really friendly and this is out of character for everyone involved, however in the end she sucked it up like all cheerleaders and thankfully she was not permanently injured.

I'm a base. Just yesterday a girl landed on my head and I fell back and smacked my head. The whole team ran to see if I was ok. Why would they just walk away? It's obvious she's hurt.

I wanna say it's because she landed head first and it is common knowledge to not move the person without professional, medical staff present because the risk of causing further damage is extremely high.

I'm a coach of an all-star team and the thing that is worst is there there is no clear repercussion towards the bases or the team. I emphasize to my squad that stunts falls, I can live with that. We just need to work on making it better. A flyer hitting the floor, that's not acceptable. EVERYONE, except the flyer, is punished when any of my flyers hit the floor. Safety must be a priority in this sport and it must be reinforced by any means necessary.

I actually do cheer. And the bases did catch her. She clearly hit her head but she did roll off her lower neck by her shoulders. She didn't even fall straight from extension. Also, you can tell the pain isn't from the impact of that fall because you here one of the coaches saying "Is it your neck again?"; inferring she probably had a previous issue. I feel sympathy for her because she's in pain. But honestly, she didn't even fall from a full extension... :/ sooooo

I think there are some moves in cheerleading that SHOULD be banned/outlawed. I like seeing them dance & twirl but no need for high risk flippy flippy crap. You might hurt yourself or even die. That's why certain moves in pro wrestling are banned, like pile driver. You can train for years and still end up with a broken neck.

For all off the people saying that she's being over dramatic, let me describe to you exactly what is happening here. She flipped over. Her head hit that dudes knee. I can guarantee that hitting his knee wasn't fun and didn't feel good. Then she hit the ground. Doesn't look nice either. So, now, put yourself in her position. You would be crying louder than she is.

  • @acaldwell4242

If you pause at 0:13 you can see she smacked her head on the guys knee. I don't think she did it on purpose though, because she tried to flip but the guy had brought her down while she flipped. If he would've held her up in the air she would have flipped while still up enough to catch her instead of bringing her down while flipping causing the knee accident

I definitely feel for that Cheerleader the way she is laying on the ground covering her face and laying in fetal position while possibly in shock and maybe a concussion depending on how hard the impact was on her neck, lower back and spine. I wouldn't want to be on a team that uncaring about a teammate. hope she will be okay. there are several warning signs she is not okay though like how she didn't get up right away to the angle she landed, rolling around on the ground holding her head while crying. broke my heart. can't help but wonder why nobody got school nurse even or to be safe call for an Ambulance

notice the girl in the back gets dropped and they do the same exact thing. Come on guys if someone on my team dropped a flyer we would of had 150 frog jumps and we've had to do that before. CATCH YOUR FLYER!!

WELL THAT'S STUPID HOW THE GUYS GO AWAY WITHOUT EVEN HELPING HER. INSTEAD OF ASKING HER IF SHE IS OK, THEY START MAKING EXCUSES THAT IT WASN'T THEIR FAULT. THAT JUST MAKES ME MAD.

If you guys actually did cheer, and knew a little. They prevented her from actually falling on her head or neck, she rolled off her upper back so it looked like her neck; kinda like when you do a somersault. She wants attention...

Oh My God I'm 12 years old and if I was a cheerleader and fell from that height I would be screaming and crying in pain, and for anybody who's saying it doesn't hurt you don't know that and neither do I so quite being rude and mean please. :-) :-)

The worst part of this video is how two guys are basing one girl and still can't get the stunt in the air.

Notice in the background at the other end another base dropped his flyer. Wow what a team.. seriously is this even a team!? Wtf how could they leave her on the floor crying instead of helping her out! As a dancer I may not understand how a cheer squad works but when I do flips and I injure myself my dancers immediately come around as ask if I'm fine. Here they just.. let her be. SERIOUSLY!?

what I want to know is why a coach would choreograph a stunt involving a waterfall with NO BACKSPOT.
