The biggest myth is that Dhruv's influence on elections is effective. His main audience is in cities, yet BJP did very well in cities and struggled in rural areas due to caste politics, not because of Dhruv. In Delhi, AAP lost 7-0 to BJP, even with Dhruv's support. Let that sink in-the stronghold of Dhruv Rathee, with his millions of tweets and video views, could not help AAP win even one seat. In Mumbai, where I'm from, anyone with basic knowledge knows the loss was due to the split between Uddhav and Shinde factions, along with poor ticket distribution. Noting to do with Dhruv. People like Dhruv or any influencers only reinforce existing beliefs and make a lot of money, not just from social media but also from political parties. This is a cliché, but social media isn’t real life. Yes, India is digitally advanced, and everyone has a phone and internet access. However, only a fraction of the 1.5 billion people actually use social media. Do we need ppl like Dhruv? YES and NO. YES: We need people to challenge authority. Muzammil Shah stays in Pakistan and criticises every party neutrally. He states facts and analyses. Thats courageous reporting. He is also very logical. Huge respect for him. About the Dhruv Rathee question. I do not have an opinion on the biases of the two Pakistani KZreadrs But Dhruv Rathee will be found to be Godiest media if somehow Arvind Kejriwal was to become the Prime Minister. Some reasons: during the Swati Maliwal case, his video was completely based on what the AAP's view was despite the matter being very unclear and during the Punjab election, he heavily criticised Congress (something BJP pulled out during the recent elections to use in their favor) as BJP does not stand a chance in the Punjab state election but AAP does. Remember, when Congress was in power, Arnab Goswami was considered a fierce journalist!

Yes coz that is the ruling party. It doesn't make sense to criticize the party which is not in power. And today BJP is the party which has become a threat to our secular democracy. Back is the 70s it was congress. But we have to stay in the present. It's very imp to preserve our democracy. Pakistan doesn't even have a democracy. All parties infected with religious fundamentalism.

The criticizing comment is making many assumptions. I like what Dhruv Rathee is doing, but I think Syed Muzammil is in a league of his own. So I would say that there is no comparison between two.

there is no league. dhruv talks about a plethora of subjects, from history to science to health to geopolitics to everything. syed can be considered as someone who deeply cares for his people, that's where his content is focused on so, if you talk as an educator, then dhruv wins the league. if you talk about courage, syed wins the league and if you talk about love for the nation, they both win it. there's no one winner.

Muzammil Shah talks about everything that is wrong without thinking of biases same with Mohak Mangal. Not Dhruv Rathee though. He deliberately misquotes things, quotes false data sources, hides the context to create a false rhetoric. He IS biased and a liar, to the point where a young person like me can predict what next he is going to talk about and where he would stop to fake things. I can pinpoint all of that. He is an agenda driven guy. Not saying he is being paid by someone but he definitely is a person who would deliberately lie or hide things. I can provide innumerable instances pertaining to this.

There is no comparison between Syed Muzammil Shah and Dhruv Rathee. Dhruv Rathee cannot tolerate criticism and cannot answer counter arguments to his narrative. He just simply blocks people on social media for mere questioning instead of answering them with logic & facts and he has never been a neutral person but a pro-Congress and pro-Aam Aadmi Party social media campaigner. Dhruv Rathee can be identified as a confident sounding not so well-read person masquerading as an intelligent. On the other hand, Syed Muzammil Shah is neutral guy and criticizes all political parties and ideologies without any bias. Difference is simple. Pakistani critics are knowledgeable enough to hold seminars and lectures. Indian critics are more towards parody and comic relief. Syed Muzzamil will eat someone like a Dhruv Rathee for a snack.

The difference is, people like Syed Muzammil do not make videos based on political ideologies. However Dhruv Rathee makes videos mainly criticizing BJP and its members. The actual fascist govt in India is acctually in West Bengal but you never see Dhruv Rathee making videos on it. More than 50% of ISIS terrorists from India were from Kerala but Dhruv Rathee makes you feel there is no such issue there. There are many videos that literally debunk the claims of Rathee with FACTS. syed muzammil is political scientist, who is objective and Dhruv Rathee is political influencer, who supports Indian center-left political spectrum. There is difference in theor obkectivity. So Junaid, it is not as easy as you sum up the differences.

The best time to enjoy your life is the 20s. you have energy and stamina to climb mountains, you have appetite to enjoy every food, you have cool fun loving friends who dont talk about finances and politics all the time like 40 plus uncles, you can work as well as have fun both at a time. Before 2014 dhruv rathee made countless videos against congress. Jo power mein hoga ussi se question karega na vo.

I am not gonna point out Dhruv Rathee’s political inclination as I may have cognitive bias depending upon my political view. But when you hear Syed Muzamil Shah, he is so well versed with philosophy having read books of Plato, Socrates, Derrida, Fuco, etc. In order to understand present political situation, we need to refer the Classics written by Scholars in Western Philosophy and Syed has used the context from their books. This actually inspired me to study those philosophical works and apply them in my political system. But Dhruv’s video will not inspire that, when you will see his video. That’s the biggest difference between them and makes Syed a class apart. Believe me, I miss someone like Syed Muzamil Shah in India who can talk with philosophical context, but haven’t found one.

Bhakts have raided this comment section and are proving Junaid right the usual argument of bhakts are :- Bhakt argument - Dhruv is not NEUTRAL Actual answer - Dhruv has himself said in an interview that he has a liberal tilt and has said that after 10 years depending on the situation he intends to join politics. Bhakt argument - Dhruv has been debunked many times. Actual answer - Most of the DHRUV EXPOSED type of videos are made because these people want views or are combination of ad-hominem ad-nausem attacks. some lack clear line of reasoning recent Siddharth Yadav aka Elvish Yadav 40 min. is an prime example. Bhakt argument - Dhruv just criticises BJP Actual answer - If legacy media had done their job their wouldn't be any Dhruv Rathee. Bhakts also bring up Dhruv's old video time and again where he goes after congress and it's scams. But this proves that Dhruv is not a fan of Congress either so what is the central point of this bhakt argument? I don't know only bhakts can answer.

Syed Muzammil Shah is a biased and insecure person one day I disagreed with him on Fb and he blocked me. They are the same as right wing they just don't have power to do the extremism and exploitation of public. All are hypocrites in Pakistan when they get in power they show true colors.

His criticisms of all that is wrong in Pakistan was and is perpetuated by his party of choice yet he doesn’t have a word to say against them. At least with Muzammil, you know he’s admitted to voting for PTI and has expressed conditional support for them based on performance and has regularly critiqued them thoroughly.

Junaid Bhai, there is one BIG difference between you and Rathee; You got trolled and almost canceled thanks to ONE paid content from a political party; but Rathee is a card bearing member of AAP, campaigned for them in elections and also accepts political patronage and money. You are in Pakistan and maybe cannot speak against the govt of the day as openly as Rathee does; but that is the reason he operates from Germany- because he then is not accountable to the very same people he comes from. I think you do a far greater and courageous job than Dhruv Rathee. While Dhruv's message may be inspiring, but his lack of courage is not.

Bhai there is no comparison between Syed Muzzamil and Dhruv Rathee. Syed Muzzamil is a proper intellectual whereas Dhruv Rathee is a mediocre iq guy at best. Dhruv Rathee doesn’t criticize India, he criticizes BJP and Modi! His ideas are are diabolical, he said India doesn’t need highways as only 8% families in India owns cars. Think about it how dumb it is and how basic knowledge it is, you don’t put cart before horse. I don’t care if anyone criticizes India as long as they can back it up with logic and data. Syed Muzzamil lives in Pakistan, in that society and he has walk through a very thin line, he is brave. Dhruv lives in Germany. Enjoying German infrastructure and asking Indians to not build highways. Do you see the hypocrisy? Dhruv is actually AAP planted propaganda peddler, not an individual voice. There is enough information on the net to substantiate that.
