Non of Diana’s falls here her fault you can see her fight and squeeze in every single one. She needed better more consistent bases

I know damn well Diana's bases did not just give up like that...

For the number one ranked gym in the world, this was disappointing! The bases just gave up on her even when she was trying to do the next skill after the fall, do better!

Poor girl I feel like cheer athletics puts the tiniest girls up too often and sets up talented strong girls for failure

It sucks competing when you can tell by the crowd's reaction that another stunt group dropped. Esp with a ring or jacket on the line.

CA set her up to fail

Poor Diana….

Diana should just move to TopGun, they will not do her dirty there.

not trying to be rude or anything but I don’t think that she would fly if she went to top gun. for one of two reasons most of their flyers are tiny like you’re not gonna get away from flyers being 13 and 14, A number to my friend was on Lady jags the covid year and she is the exact same height and close to body type as diana is and she was a flyer but she ended up being a back spot on lady jags.

@@Faith-md3vx these issues need to be addressed in the cheer community, there are more than small flyers. I understand the whole fitting people into the puzzle and doing what’s best for the team, but a flyer at Diana’s level being made a back spot to me is stupid asf imo.

I don't even blame the bases. It's totally CA's fault and their technique only for small flyers. Diana deserves better.

People keep bringing up the weight of the flyers but I don’t think that has anything to do with it. They were probably overworked and exhausted.

If they hit they would have been at least top 2 easy

Their technique & execution is horrible. That took most of their points off more than the falls.

Hate to say it but I think they did better day 1

even though she looks tight in the air, i dont think its the bases fault because she had different bases in each stunt. like in the first one she had a girl with red hair, but not in the others. she is the common denominator lol..i think it might just be a size thing like she is very tall and muscular so it may be time for her to come out the air

it’s rlly not cool to discuss someone’s size & there are many flyers at countless other gyms that that have a similar build to her that can be held in the air just fine. that one girl on senior elite is like 5’8” and her stunt has stayed consistent for years, I don’t think cheer athletics weight trains their bases properly and they compensate with that by favoring extremely small flyers. it’s sad to see because diana is a beautiful flyer and her size would not be an “issue” at most cheer gyms.

I also used to cheer with diana and I’m pretty sure she is like 5’1”. she’s not tall for a flyer, she just looks much taller compared to the other flyers ca has

CA is notorious for having skinny and petite flyers. as a cheerleader and a track runner myself i can say bc of the muscle i have built i also look more muscular in the air and much like diana im also 5’1. my stunt group has always been consistent too so you’re probably right abt the weight training thing with CA.

the other two stunts she has the same bases, on day 1 those stunts came down the same type of way and her first one stayed up. It’s the bases, the first stunt was just a coincidence or a mixture of problems

I don’t think Diana is cheering this season 22-23… 🙃
