Yes, sure. But the Hindi version does have some magic about it, without doubt. The mood is of course quite different from the original, which was sombre. And Shreya Ghoshal's voice is charming!

Oh come on. Can definitely not beat tamil with spb’s voice. Although Shreya’s voice is beautiful I just can’t get over Spb in the original tamil.

SG di is rockn as always❤️... Perfect female version undoubtedly... But SPB wud hav rendered a much better feel n a touch of high pitch alaps to this song in its old version in tamizh(its a 80s song here)... He is truely a legend... Cant believe he is no more...

@@talkswithvigy7860 tailor made ROFL i dont think so... ilyaraja had modernized his own tune rather computerized... since this actual 80s song was orchestrated But no doubt SG di had effortlessly done it amazing for her age n maturity..same with "jane do na"... its just the language , tones n lyrics tat makes the difference as we hear the ending n beginning of a phrase along with aalaps ..for a person like me who hav grwn up listening to SPBs tamil version found those little bit of difference.. very much nitpicking
