Field recordings are a great addition to any ambient track. I'd add some white noise or wind noise here, which would go well with the snow animation in the video.

mm.. i cant decide if the deliciously 'soft' pings and such is echo's of the snow , ice a locations remoteness adding to its mystery.. or hints of what is inside... is it a lurking menace , something oblivious to living things... or something benevolent yet forgotten hmm

Appreciate that you didn't use the rain sound for this track. Sometimes it can quite loud compared to the music, but in this one the music can be appreciated even more. Thank you for the great atmosphere man

Being Bipolar, it's difficult often to keep all the intrusive thoughts and emotions in check. This track is excellent because I find it helps to ground them, it's immensely calming.

This music is the same vibe I look for when I do photography. Foggy forests, burnt out neon lights, desolate and cold spaces that look like they hold many stories, but nobody to tell them. Thank you for making these, they give me inspiration!

Both sound design and visual art are superb!

This checkpoint was one of many that linked an evident path to the rumored Northern Control. We kept hearing about it from intercepted comms near the old station. Our research group decided it was worth the risk to trek all the way North and find out why so many creatures seemed to be coming from that direction. What we found were several imposing structures with tunnels beneath connected to a rail line. This line used to be open at one point. I hesitate, but I think we now have a straight shot at getting to Northern Control if it actually exists. I just hope we don't encounter anything unfriendly along the way.

The checkpoint's location is known to only a select few. It's tucked away in the mountains, far from the ravages of war. It stands as a beacon of sanctuary, guarded by an impenetrable fortress. I was just playing Black Mesa with this track as the background lol. I've been playing Half Life 2 too the last weeks along with his tracks and it has been a blast. It just fits perfectly

Checkpoint Alpha- the Final Checkpoint. This stone and steel structure is the last thing between the Society and the Old World. Years ago, the Grand Council sent explorers out- none returned. Now, only the Banished go through those doors. There may be life out there- whether hostile or not we don't know. Perhaps one day we'll venture beyond once again- but for now, we'll stay here, where its safe.

Have just recently found this channel and absolutely love it. Perfect for some background ambience while doing other tasks or just chilling. Who does the artwork? It's really cool.

For a span of time measured only by footprints in the snow, the closest thing I'd known to "safety" was bouts of exhausted slumber by hastily-built campfires and makeshift lean-tos. Every waking moment spent moving, evading the hungry beasts, scavenging what I could from this frozen world and those it had claimed to keep myself going, luxuries like walls and beds and warmth the only hope pushing me forward. But now I had made it where so many others had failed. They would take me in; a pair of useful hands were still prized in these desolate lands. And so long as I remained useful, I would never again need to feel the falling snow.

Where does the artwork come from? It's really really beautiful, and adds so much to the atmosphere of your pieces!!

these Checkpoints are a welcome sight for us Rangers especially if there FNC (First Nations Coalition) Checkpoints those are always well stocked you just have to be weary of Skavs or Dredgs lurking about waiting to make easy prey of Rangers not paying attention to their surroundings
