Awesome video! I was going to adjust and clean my chain for the first time tomorrow this was super helpful. I just got my xsr900 last week and I'm loving it. Keep the videos coming 😊

Awesome! Congratulations on your bike, you will not be disappointed. Make sure and keep rpms under 9000 for first 1000 miles for safe engine break-in. I know it will be hard not to but I highly recommend doing that. Glad the video was helpful by the way Yamaha recommends checking chain tension before every ride.

@@just4fans303 Thank you, I am definitely not disappointed it is such a good bike to ride. It has been hard to keep the RPM down but at the same time it has plenty of Torque you don't need anything over 5300RPM and still you are going pretty fast xD. I cannot wait till im out of the break in period though. I did my chain today cleaned it re-lubed and tightened the tension... it got a bit late so I'll check in the morning to see if its at the proper spec. but I believe I am at about 50mm of slack. and it says to go between 45mm and 50mm in the manual so pretty sure its all g. One thing I did do was check the tyre pressure and it was at 25PSI in front and 35 in the back (Supposed to be 36FRONT & 42BACK) ive only had it a week.. so not sure if that is normal for new tyres or bike tyres to go down that much in only 500kms (300 Miles). What is your experience with Tyre Pressures? (sorry for any "silly" questions I have not owned/ridden a bike in like 6 years)

@scottlaverty6273 be careful I picked up something in my rear tire and was losing 10psi overnight it's a real small puncture but enough to cause it to lose proper pressure. I am not going to ride until I get it replaced too much torque and speed to take any chances having a blow out or damaging my rim. I found an acceptable tire on Amazon for around $100 going to remove the rim and tire and take it to a local cycle gear to get it put on. I'll do a video on it. Get a squirt bottle and fill with soapy water use liquid dawn it works well. Air up tires to proper level and spray all over the tires and look for bubbles 🫧 if you see bubbles you have a puncture and need to replace tire. I don't recommend getting it patched you only have two wheels and one life.
