Checking Out: Voices of War - Men of the North by Cinesamples

Музыка

Oozing with myth and legend, Cinesamples deliver a wonderful low voiced male choir instrument complete with Norse phonetics and sibilance. The big surprise in this library are the original ambiences and soundscapes which I think will be just as useful as the main choir patches.

This almost sounds like the exact plugin Jeremy Soule used to compose the music for Skyrim, holy crap The interface definitely screams it too, haha.

@@phalanxiatheroan863 No, the only theme in Skyrim's OST that has real choir is the main theme. The rest is 100% Tonehammer's Requiem Pro.

The vowels towards the beginning sound more like monks singing than Vikings. But at 9:32 .....perfect

6:37 Great stuff, sounds like it's ripped straight from a scene of Prometheus, but ... this is WAY more Gregorian Chant than anything "war"-like. So far it sounds more like a little brawl with the boys in the backyard than anything remotely aggressive.

How do you know what vikings sounded like? I'm sure plenty of them sounded like a bunch of drunk church choir boys. Their culture wasn't this modern western re-imagination of them that you think about today.
