@@kacpergames1606 I don't think Steam Deck outperforms The Rog Ally X, also Steam Deck has limited Library only Steam stores, unlike Windows has a lot of gaming stores.

Is the e-ink display usable by the OS? Or is it only adjustable by proprietary software? It'll be kind of interesting if you can read e-books on that.

I noticed you skipped over the Customer Service improvements and the changes to ASUS's RMA process. Maybe instead of spending over a million bucks on a booth to showcase products that you aren't even selling is a bad look when your entire company is under fire for its horrendous policies surrounding customer service and warranty claims. Not a great look ASUS. Also, I'm speaking as an ASUS fan, I've got more than half my components in my rig from ASUS, you make great quality (sometimes) and have the most options but the warranty scares me. The only thing that separates companies within a competitive market is their Customer Service. I will always pay more for better service and care.

Why is the AMD variant of the Zephyrus g16 limited to RTX 4070 only? Why no RTX 4080 and above?

Mainly because of the tdp if you put a 4080 or 4090 in there it would only be able to get 125w of power which is not enough and will cause it underperform vs if you got like a strix g16 or g18 or any other laptops with the 4080 or 4090 you will notice power limits with their boost software to put out 175w of max power. Rather have them cap the gpu they know will get good performance with that tdp vs over put a gpu in it just to have it be held back by the tdp.

​@@cobra2994the limited VRAM is the problem. The 2023 *G14* with 4090 outperforms pretty much every 4080 laptop while maintaining adequate TDP and temperatures in gaming. The G16 4090 with either AMD or Intel is workable.

@@cobra2994 Asus has no problem cooling the 4080/4090. Asus does have 4080 and 4090 variants of the Zephyrus g16 and those runs Intel Meteor Lake CPUs. Even at 125W the 4080 and 4090 is substantially faster than the 4070 and below, plus the extra CUDA cores + VRAM is very useful for productivity which these machines are targeted for. The 2023 G14 which is even smaller also has 125w 4080 and 4090 options and those have similar performance to the new G16 too.

@@cobra2994 I don't think it's because of thermals as they already have g16 variants with 4080 and 4090, although those use Intel. 125w still makes them significantly faster than 4070 and below and the extra VRAM and CUDA cores are more important anyway as these are also targeted for professional/creative use. Not to mention the last year g14 also has the same options

My laptop still chooses ROG, but for handling I choose Steamdeck. I'm still thinking about buying a ROG phone or choosing something else

The ally x is the handheld we should have gotten in the beginning. They sold us faulty allys willingly with the failing SD card slot. I think you should offer people who own a ally z1 extreme 50% off the ally x with trade in for people still under warranty. I think that would be fair.

Bring the e-ink customised cover display to 2025 Zephyrus G14/16. We can use it to advertise our own QR link code as our digital identity be it for gamer or content creator. The 2024 strip of white led is dull, flashing light is annoying and has no real functionality.

@@LCJammer Aint my issue lol, ive used screen cleaner for so many of my screens, glossy or matte, and my zenbook got damaged by it. That is quality control issues on their end, 4 months in after buying it, i contacted support to get 0 help. Worst part is they kept reaching out to do nothing but waste my time. ASUS use to be one of my favorite brands but now its one of the shittiest ones
