Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video I take a look at the Program Card for my GoolRC ESC to see if it will solve the cogging issue I have been having with my new brushless upgrade.

Thank you for teaching us how to use the programmer and hopefully you figured out your situation. Let us know what was wrong with it.

I recently modified my raster redbull RB18 F1 rc car to brushless and I had the same cogging issue. Now I'm waiting for the program card coming to my house to fix the cogging issue. (Running on 2s 100c 1550mah lipo, brushless 2430 5800KV motor,25a cool rc brushless esc, flysky fs-gt3b,SG90 servo)

I had the same issue with a similar Goolrc RC on my 10th scale HSP and ended up finding that the forward throttle I think it's number 16 when I played with those values I finally got it too get rid of the coging with also playing with the power from items 3 &4

Good to know. I will have to check out those settings and hopefully it solves the cogging issue or at least lessens it.

Hi! after programming mine my ESC doesn't arm... I have throttle at 0 (no trimming), I've recalibrated the throttle and steering on my remote (RadioLink RC6GS v3), and there is no way to make the engine run... only beeps. :(

so the 12 = 11? 13 = 12 and so on because it jumps from 10 to 12, do you have any explanation? thank you

Mine also cogs as well as going a slow cruising speed straight to taking off. No happy medium. It sucks.

Thanks for the video. Mine cogged really badly and was super hesitant. I just cranked both no.3 & no.4 up to the max and the problem has gone. No idea why they sell the esc with this silly stock setting, but hope this helps.

I bought one of those cheap motors once and i was having the same problem. I come to find that the bullet connectors to the motor were soldered quite terribly and i think with lead and not solder. So i cut the end off and trashed them. Got myself some new connectors, soldered them on and BOOM no cogging. I suggest trying the same.

The Problem is not the motor but also the driving Mode. You must Trigger twice to run backwards? Thats the boat or crawler Mode. But on this Card isn't an Option for that or you must change the Value for Item 1. Best regards

Sometimes even after programming they still cogg and it is because the ESC is not completely compatible with the motor but I have seen guys switch the pinion to a bigger size and it stopped cogging

You actually have to change starting to AT LEAST 8, better yet a 9 to get rid of cogging. Also the item number I had to change was #2 so maybe double check that. Same system and card, it was item#2 to an 8 or 9, possibly even yours shows it as item 4 but it's a misprint and is actually item 2? I don't know. also in my experience on systems you can't get rid of cogging, it was the ESC not the motor, just a tip if it don't work for ya 👍🏻

  • @ReadytoRunRC

I’ll try #2 out. I put a different motor on then in a different video and it still cogged just a little but not as much. Thanks for the info.

I don't know why nobody talks about it but it is basically a "problem" of non sensored brushless motors. Even top brand non sensored are like this. The issue can be reduced very much using lowering the gearing and using a 6 poles motor, but is not a real issue, it's a characteristic.

Is it a censored motor because sometimes that will happen with non-censored motors.

  • @ReadytoRunRC

It is non censored. I may have mentioned that in the first speed run video as being the reason why it cogs. I'm not sure.

I also selected 3 which was not shown. I was out of frame when I selected it so I didn’t put it in the video when I edited it. Even though it wasn’t shown I did in fact select 3.
