Favorite quote: "You're not going to make Apocalypse Now if you're also playing in, like, Bon Jovi, or whatever." - Brian Chippendale.

"I'm playing the drums as loud as I can and still there's famine in the world"
"The aspiration is to just have a good practice that night." My kind of artist right there.

Talk about a quote. “80% willpower, 20% technical skill”
Interesting quote around 11:30... "If I've got a couple things to do in my life I'm O.K. But if you give me one more thing to do do, I won't do any of it". I can TOTALLY relate. Story of my life and I'm struggling with the second part. Overworked, multi-tasking. Anyone?

That is my story. I wasn't diagnosed with ADHD until I was 41. Dropped out of school too many times to count.
At Gasa Gasa in New Orleans, Greg Saunier told me that he walked into the room with Chippendale, stared into the eye of the hurricane, and played as hard as he could. These two and Zach Hill are heirs of Keith Moon. We are living in a golden age of drumming brilliance.

I have had the pleasure of at least talking to him a solid half hour way before a show in 2011 and 18. He is so fucking cool its nuts. Our daughter was in NICU when she was 2 and he not only posted to help us out on our go fund me, but he also donated. I love him so much. He knows me and my wife. He met my brother last year in Louisville
We need an Ed Rodriguez documentary, he's been in sooo many fantastic bands over the years (deerhoof, nervous cop, colossamite, xbxrx, ect) and he's such a unique guitar playing style. Also he was just the nicest dude I've met at a show, super killer dude, would love to learn more about him

ahahhah, couldn't put my finger on it
Its funny that everyones complements to Chippendales drumming sound like insults but if you love his style, you just get it. He is a very unique drummer, who is one of the best to watch but if you love traditional music, youd think, "i could do that" even if youve never played before
Greg Saunier, more than any other drummer I've heard, reminds me of a young, mod-era Keith Moon. Except he's doing his own thing and makes the drumming sound even more uncontrolled and elastic.
Greg Saunier has a similar demeanour to Rodney Mullen, but I never thought there could be anyone as strange as Rodney Mullen. He's not quite as strange but he's getting there.

Both these guys have ASD whether they realise it or not. Just like Rodney Mullen. The way they behave and describe how they function is straight out of a textbook. Very inspirational.
Saunier is amazing! So happy this documentary got made.
The commonality seems that both these guys feel like they best express themselves through their drumming.
This was fantastic, thank you so much
great stuff... two of the best drummers around and both fine men. Loved this!
Greg Saunier, I love you man.

YEA THAT LAST MINUTE OF THE WHOLE VIDEO!!! WHERE IS MY DATA FILE ON THE WHOLE SESSION THEY MUST OF HAD?!?
Calling him a drummer is almost an insult
It's a shame he has to limit himself because of a mediocre vocalist with no range.
Checking in at 30 next year??
