I think the stock esc needs better cooling or stock gearing Yuuks I wish to get a motor 40mm fan for the esc as I think thier caps take a lot and get very hot I c 🧐

Yeah, saw on jennyrc, but easy fix

Yesterday pavement bashing as much throttle as I could and that was ok And today I’m open common with short grass again no issues and 6s both days One set of those new blue turnigy Rapids 100c🤨 And again with a single 6s turnigy Graphene Green brick pack after motor cooled for about 5mins whilst changing lipos and back out at it On a separate day that was 28-30c I think with the close mesh yet still had enough room to tic tic tic on the mesh check same bashing it kinked out into thermal So I think a looser mesh than you would usually use is better than anything 🤓but with stick pinion provided corally that has some fine shavings from pinion hurt spur is sweet🥸 the mess is why I will try protect pinion and see how that goes Maybe their pinions are not as hard wearing as aftermarket expensive pinions😟 But I’m happy again Lipo after Lipo The only thing now I need to address as I do not jump as high as some I have a lot of kick up ⬆️ in the rear over terrains 🧐🧐🧐🤨

When I had stock pinion never over heated, but tomorrow I'll find out for sure got servo installed, ready to play.

I got the roller and fit a Max 6 G2 with a 1650. ESC and motor barely gets hot, max temps where 115 esc and motor was 130 with no motor fan with 15 straight minutes of bashing 18 tooth pinion. Car is too big for the stock electrons.

@@victorevan7893 thanks if you do decide to get the same setup you will have to shave off about 3 mill of both shock tower arms to make the esc and motor fit, properly.

The stock electronics are a HW Max 8 combo that’s just rebranded. I took off the stock tires and put some 4S Backflips on it and it runs so much better.

@@Basher45RC yeah esc rebrand hw never tried my program card on it wonder if it would work, but got copperhead tires on mine, but of 6s, how does it run with the 4s tires?
