Thanks for the video Checkercycle which reminds me of the importance of a sound opening and the need to scan all every possible moves.

Your Welcome and thank you for watching. You can get some real nice checkerboards from the chess store on the net. This board i got from Ron King. The GAYP World Checker Champion at a tournament. I am glad you like it. I will try to find out if he is selling more. Also if you check out the American Checker Federation they have some nice boards and checker pieces.

Hi Em! How are you? Good to hear from you. I am doing well. Thank you! I been hoping to play in a tournament at the end of the month. I'm not sure if i can make it but i hope to be ready. The game of checkers is fun but also it takes time to learn and we all have so many other things to do. Marion Tinsley one of the greatest checker players of all time took about 10 years off and came back. Peace to you. George

Ok i saw the video. 4:20 am New York :) And i did enjoy the video by the way. I like your videos no joke. I wanna become a famous rapper but i also want to become the masters of checkers. And wow, i want to play you. Yeah visualization is the hard part for me. And i love the rule that you must jump your opponents pieces because of the control factor. I love checkers. It requires thought. :)

Hi Mr. Patrizio! How are you? I hope all is well. The video you are talking about was done July 18, 2010. The name is "A Trap In The Souter Opening, Strickland's Stroke". You also can see it in my "History". I just look at it now and of course I agree Alex's has a great love for the game and loves to do videos.

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Checkers. I suggest you look at some of these videos. A Five Minute Drill, "Spot the Shot","The Shot Position and any of the End-Game Lessons. It is a very good and fast way to learn. Please keep me inform of your progress. I suggest you try to look at the ideas and work on your tactics. It should help you improve as you are working on your game.

Hey CheckerCycle. I hope you remember me :( Sigh I feel bad because all this time, my passion for checkers disappeared. I have the interest back for it now so I am going to pursue the feeling lol. It is nice to see that you are still creating videos. How are you ? :) And please forgive me George, but my name is Imran :) It is pronounced Im-ron, but you can call me Emmy, Em, or whatever you like :) Happy to see you again. Peace :)

Yesterday i played some guys online and i especially beat this one person who said that i can't become pro. I don't blame her for saying that because she then said she or he was the best player which i can respect because i too say that...for a motivator booster lol. But guess what?! I did beat that sucker hahahhaah. I can say...near the end..he or she could had double jumped me and i could had loss my entire advantage. The thought of that is like stepping near the edge of a cliff. i love it :)

Very nice video! Out of instinct I was thinking 29-25 at first for white. This video is a good demonstration of why you can't just play checkers with instinct and need to consider all possibilities. Keep up the good work George!
