80/90 gear oil is what I call it. Just used it to fill my front differential in my F250 and paid $35 for a gallon of Lucas delivered. I use one of those plastic pumps that screws right onto gallon jugs.

Have really enjoyed the videos and what y'all are doing down there! Born and raised in Panama City myself, but live in Denver now. Y'all are doing it right by having your own slice of heaven and enjoying your lives the way you want! I've just purchased a little piece of land down at Howard Creek and ordered a home to go on it and have a place to escape the crazy Denver life and come back to my roots and for my family to enjoy! Fishing down the road from the land, and our hunting lease 5 mins away is a huge plus too! Can't tell you how many days I have thought about going back to a simpler life and enjoying nature and LESS PEOPLE! Huge congrats to y'all and look forward to continuing to follow along while you chase your dreams!

Howdy Brad Greg here from TBS. I'm absolutely blown away by where your calendar lock came from. I'm originally from Marshfield Missouri. Rose Metal is in Springfield about 25 minutes away. Had 3 really good friends who worked there. Remind me to tell you the mail box story from one of the employees Retired by now probably. It's a small little world it is.. Good information on the oil!

You may find that there is a vent tube in the middle of the front axle. It is a little hard to find. It is on the top of the axle.

My 2019 L2501 was a quart low also. Mine had 98 hours on it when I bought it if from a friend who had bought it new. He had never changed the gear lube and I seen it was a common issue for the the axle to be a quart low. I checked and sure enough, it was.

Good video, i could also recommend 2 ways to make the oil flow better 1, drive the tractor before draining to heat up the oil/lube to make it flow better. Or.... Drain it/fill it during thw hottest part of summer, hottest part of the day, with the axle facing the sun to heat up the oil/lube that way. Either way im saying it, hot oil/lube flows better, so get it hot and change it then. Thanks for the maint. Reminder.

Mine was low also. I checked with my dealer and he stated, they fill it up, you should run it about two weeks, then recheck and you will need to add a little. He said it was normal as it works it way all through the front axle.

I have a mahindra and the rear uses the same oil for hydraulics as the gears so hydraulics oil is good for the front as well. I don't think u need 80-90 in front logic just says if it's good for the rear it's fine for the front.

This is a hydrostatic transmission tractor, so the rear is lubed by the hydraulic oil. We changed that in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/g6uipI-GkbC9kbw.html
