CHECK VALVES || P0410 ||CROSSFIRE & MERCEDES BENZ SLK
How to deep clean your Check valve actuators. Carbon build up in your check valves may cause blocked air supply from your air pump to your intake manifold and may cause a P0410 check engine light. If this is not your problem, check your "RELAY CONTROL MODULE" under your hood in the black box next to your battery.

This should have far more views. There's barely any talk of cleaning these on m272/273's. I have a rough idle on cold starts & having troubleshot all the basics (which I know I've already sorted), these & a few old vacuum hoses are all that's left. Given how disgusting my old intake manifold was, I'm sure these are plenty clogged up. The previous owner didn't know what carbon buildup was & that it needed to be addressed hahaha.... Thanks for this!
Did this today c320 and mine were all clogged and closed. I took the diaphram part out so I could clean the backside, small screwdriver will ry it out. Everything back together clean as a whistle!! Thanks for the video, helped me.

Do you know where the relay for the air pump is? I bought a new RCM and my air pump does run when I put battery to it . I cannot figure what else can be wrong. My Crossfire is same color as yours but mine is a hard top. I love my little red car 😄
was the car still running before you cleaned the check valves?

Yes, it was running but the idle was really rough and wiggly
