Made of hard plastic, consists of two opening parts. Its quality differs depending on the fan model, but in general it is considered more reliable and efficient than a membrane one.
✅ Plastic valve-plate
Most often found in centrifugal fan housings. The plate opens by pressure generated by the airflow and closes under its own weight, blocking the channel.
✅ Blinds
They are predominantly made from plastic. The grate that closes the exit to the street or to the ventilation shaft is often equipped with a valve that resembles window blinds in appearance. They open and close electrically. These check valves are known for their quality, reliability and long service life.
In principle, all check valves do their job. True, membrane ones are less effective and durable.
