You’re one of my favorite filmmakers on KZread, so, I feel a little guilty sharing my thoughts. Basically it’s a beautiful house with luxury amenities yet scaled down with very small bedrooms. I see A LOT of red flags ::::: incomplete bathroom sink drains, no running water, close proximity to what looks like substandard neighboring homes. That huge water puddle right next door looks like a sewage pit! But, the low end asking price makes it possibly doable for a lot of folks. This is a home that one would want to have extensive inspections on BEFORE buying (water, sewer, electrical, etc etc. Otherwise, it may become a huge money sucker.

Not all west African houses are like that and you can always remove the tile to grow plants if you really want/like the house.

It's kinda standard tho, in fact look at some western homes it's in the same place or in the toilet area from my own research, one of the two. Or the more expensive one, a literal laundry room just for washing

The house is nicely configured. It merges modern and customary use. However, the OP is correct. The washing machine is poorly situated. Its location is definitely not standard in most modern homes throughout the world - first hand knowledge.
