Come walk around our Isuzu NPS300 4x4 Truck. Our homemade canopy, rooftop tent, dog box and rooftop boat.
We show you through everything and explain all the changes we’ve made during the 6 months of fulltime travelling Australia.
We purchased the truck secondhand from Broome in July 2023, our rental lease expires in September so it was a busy few months to build the truck how we needed it and pack up our lives to travel fulltime in the truck and caravan.
Jack built the canopy and we’ve made lots of changes in the 6 months.
We customised the Isuzu bullbar with a fabricated winch cradle to hold the Runva winch.
We recently upgraded the solar panels thanks to Steve at Langshore Power.
The drivers side of the canopy is fit out with the solar system, Engel upright freezer, XTM draws from ‪@bcfaustralia‬ . The boat motor is stored inside and other bits and pieces.
We’ve changed where the dogs live by buying them a new dog box that has custom made canvas drop down sides, their box is fully insulated using foil board, ply lined and custom made mattresses.
We’ve moved the ‪@OcamindustriesAu‬ King Roof top tent to the back now we’ve bought a boat.
Jack made the boat loader which goes up the back using the rack and a winch on the head board. We are using 2x rhino cases from Bunnings to hold all the boat accessories.
The passenger side of canopy holds all Jacks tools as a Diesel Fitter. The compressor with retractable hose reel is in there also.
Then down to the must have of the canopy and most used item, the Engel beer fridge on MSA drop down slide. Another 2 Xtm draws holding the dog stuff and camping cooking utensils and jacks handmade slide out pantry.

Your must have when driving, redarc tow pro elite brake controller, GME UHF radio, magnetic phone holders, ‪@ichecktpms‬, wireless caravan camera and our new ‪@GarminInt‬ Overlander GPS.
We have another Engel fridge in the cab which is super handy to put the water bottles and snacks on the go.
A few 12v charging points and ofcourse 2x sirocco fans to push the aircon back to the kids.
Our kids are all in 5 point safety harnessed car seats as car seat safety is our family priority.
A large fire extinguisher in case it’s needed.
