Really enjoyed this tour! Was an impromptu video during my visit but I hope y’all enjoy it. Fascinating stuff
I just landed a new job in a completely new career field for me, and a huge part of getting that job was due to the knowledge gained from watching your videos here on KZread! The craziest part is I wasn't even aware of or looking for such a position. Thank you so much for the content you create!

Captivatingly unique presentation. Impressively effective. Beneficially memorable.
That was really interesting and enjoyable to watch Kyle.
Fascinating stuff. Thanks for the tour Joe.
Another great video, Kyle.
Love this kind of deep dive into suppliers, so many cool things happening
Great Video! very interesting, what a great facility!
Keep making these videos. I'm really interested in how the auto industry works behind the scenes.
This was neat to watch.
Very cool tour! I could watch a more in depth version for sure.
"Magna International Inc. is a Canadian parts manufacturer for automakers. It is one of the largest companies in Canada and was recognized on the 2020 Forbes Global 2000."
Interesting. I worked in that business about 50 years ago at Bostrom in Milwaukee. Their main business was suspension seating for trucking and construction equipment. I worked at trying to make their products meet the then new Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 302 for flammability. I left with occupational asthma from the chemicals used in blowing urethane foam.
Two points . My drivers seat headrest does not adjust low enough to place my head centered on the headrest , I had to buy a booster seat pad . Also some of the materials being used are not only environmental friendly but, animal food source .
Very interesting video, it’s more like what Munro would do🙂
Can they fix the seat for the Chevy Bolt? They got better but are still crap
Rule number 1. --- Don't tell people what to feel when you show your products. Products should make people explain how they feel. Then you know you have great products.
13:26 "Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) is a highly versatile closed-cell bead foam that provides a unique range of properties, including outstanding energy absorption, multiple impact resistance, thermal insulation, buoyancy, water and chemical resistance, exceptionally high strength to weight ratio and 100% recyclability."
I worked in engineering in the seating department in Magna and the place is incredibly poorly run. I cant speak for this specific facility but the launches for new product were a complete disaster and the quality was inconsistent. One day a defect was acceptable and the next it was not and then the next day it was again. The instructions from upper management were so inconsistent that the operators just stopped caring about quality. Warranty claims were through the roof! The seating department always had at least 7 out of 10 of the top warranty claims every month. After working there I avoid magna seating products.
The Pathfinder M-series cutting machine is way better then a Gerber..
Interesting video but they have never reverse engineered a Volvo seat. And God knows what they did for Tesla. Those seats suck and not having head rests that fold on the rear seat of the Model Y is a major fail!
11:07 "...more durable material [...] vegan..." No. You're headed in the wrong direction.
Bragging about being in the office is a MASSIVE turn off. People don't want this. Bad management wants this.

@Jari Orava well let's tell the men and women that run the grid not to come to work because it's a MASSIVE turn off...let's tell the men and women that produce fuel and deliver to our country's fuel stations to not come into work because it is a MASSIVE turn off.... let's tell all the men and women who work in our country's supply chain not to come into work because it's a MASSIVE turn off..... Have some respect for the men and women who have to go into the office so you can live in your ivory tower while you receive your Amazon.

@@robert5008 Does it help our working class if I do less but I’m at a workplace? Life isn’t fair, but many of us in democracies can choose our jobs and future. Some choose to be passive and complain and some choose to act and take back the control of their lives.
Least disguised advertisement ever. I don’t care about his office.
