Five years back, my wife and I were on the brink of divorce because of issues in our marriage, but we found a way to fix them. It was hard, but we made it through...... Most times, patience and the desire to make it work, is all we need.

I'm in a relationship that really is struggling and even though we're apart, I can't think of life without her; my love for her is solid. I really want her back, and I'm committed to making it work. We've tried different things, like therapy, to mend things.

Years ago I went through the marriage even though there was emotional, sexual and verbal abuse. It affected my children as well. I thought that I had to stay because I was a Christian. The enemy lied constantly and I finally left. My adult children and I were better for it. Don't ever forget that we have a Heavenly Father that loves us no matter what.

If a spouse isn’t meeting a need or needs… specific communication is required and possibly counseling when needed. To cheat is an absolute selfish choice. Marriage goes through trials, and tribulations, downtimes, etc. none of those reasons are an excuse to cheat. It isn’t even comparable for a spouse that cheats and a spouse that isn’t fulfilling your needs anymore because of everyday life. Most couples aren’t communicating and unfortunately reading between the lines or trying to read minds won’t cut it. Be direct and communicate so there isn’t any misunderstanding.

All I hear are excuses we make for those who cheat. There is NEVER an excuse good enough to excuse or stand as reason for one to cheat. Never. One makes that choice. People start blaming themselves for people who can't stand the heat. If it's too hot, get out of the kitchen!! Be woman enough or man enough to leave the other person. Than putting them through the pain. Cowards!

You still CHOOSE to cheat......so the spouse who is withdrawn, is at fault for their spouse cheating???? HUH?? I've been married 24yrs....life happens, we go thru ups and downs, sometimes, out of our control, things happen, whether it's health, work, stress....I won't put myself in a position to cheat, either does my hubby....its a choice we make! @joycemullane5337 thank you...years ago, my hubby's youth pastor, married us, and we went thru premarital counseling beforehand with the pastor and his wife.. one thing that never left me, was when he stated to us, never put yourself in a compromising situation with the opposite sex(never alone, ect) that has stuck with us... it's not hard....you never solve marital issues, outside of the marriage!! It's pretty simple....this doug guy, gives me the creeps

@@jesusis1459I also have an unsettling feeling when Doug is present over the years when he was a guest on Marcus and Joni, Joni Table Talk and Ministry Now. My personal thought, he has a narcissistic personality and is obsessed with sex, exercise, money and himself. Joni is blinded to the numerous red flags in this relationship and has chosen attention, charm and lust over God's Word and family. Doug will eventually exhaust her emotionally and physically.

@@joycemullane5337 I honestly, don't watch daystar, however, my mom has for years...I occasionally would listen with her on table talk, and Marcus and joni.... recently, table talk, ect, has been popping up on my feed on utube, so when I saw her with Doug, I tuned in, and instantly, creep vibe....talking to my aunt, she knew much more about him and his history. I had no idea, except, the discernment, is real....what she said, was exactly what I was getting....with that said, I have never been interested in the mega/pastor/church shows...most have never sat well with me....ill stick to my smaller pastors I have found on utube, who aren't afraid to say the truth, speak on sin, and could care less about the following they have. They are on here, just to spread the gospel and get the truth out about these last days.... my favorite is JD Farag from Kaneohe, Hawaii😊

Personal responsibility people! Reverence of Almighty God. No one can ever meet all our needs, ever! To place this burden on someone else & then cheat because they can't live up to every expectation is horrible. Doug unfortunately gives very narcissistic excuses. Something is very off with him. I stopped watching & supporting Daystar after Doug came into the picture & just seeing the pride & arrogance. Its just become disgusting to me. What happens to the brain? Why don't you discuss what Scriptures say?? My goodness, psychology can't save or fix. That's just a band aid. Christians glorify psychology & don't put Scripture & Christ first.
