@@irhdaily if you still didn't fully get it, there's reservation and quotas in India (in universities and jobs) who for people who were either discriminated against in the past or didn't have the same privileges as others(then). They are mainly divided into three - SC (schedule cast), ST (schedule tribe) and OBC(other backward classes).

in india backbenchers finish their their paperin last half hour when they get some cheating

Guys you know that there is a caste system in Indian. So there are some castes that are backward or are in minorities so there are diffrent categories based on which they get different levels of relaxation. Like in colleges some percentage of seats are reserved for these caste categories. They also get relaxation in fees etc.This is basically to help they grow to the equal status like General Caste catagory. There are some disadvantages of this system as well.....

In India you have different castes. Some of which used to be socially or economically backward during the Islamists Mughals and Britishers rule . So our government has reserved some quota /seats in education and government jobs . So OBC means (other backward classes) There are also scheduled Tribes who have reservations.

It's really awesome and it's one of the few bollywood movies which portrayed majority of the real events and dialogues and even the scene which we thought were fiction turned out to be true!💯

One can apply for it and after some checking they get the status and the benefits of seat reservation in Universities of medical, engineering, law and others with concession in fees; government jobs; etc. So initially this program was to be stopped after a decade of independence but as politicians saw this as a vote-bank, this continued. This is based on economical status majorly and few other requirements. But because of corruption and because of the weird way policies are written and interpreted by the bureaucrats- the not so poor, the middle class some rich get these category status and get their children in good universities because then the admission marks requirement is low for them.
