Cheater Clouds - How To Easily Paint Clouds In Oil!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Struggle with painting clouds. In this video I will show you how I cheat to create the prefect cloud every time.
A lot of new painters struggle with clouds when they paint in the wet on wet style. Many times your paint will become contaminated with the sky color and lead to a muted white. This will blend with your clouds making them look dull and boring. This video corrects that with an awesome tip that I will share with you.

This was an excellent tutorial. Bob Ross always said it's our world and we can do what we want...so why not in stages? I paint in stages because I'm still in the infancy of this and going too fast just muddied my attempts. Slowing down into stages seems to be making the difference.

I can't wait for your next video! Like you said, we don't have a lot of time in day to work on our paintings, and I'm waiting to see how you work in sections. I've started painting after a very long time and I love painting with oil. I followed one of your painting tutorial and I messed up the on clouds! I'm waiting for my painting to dry up a bit so I can follow what you did in this video. Please don't stop making these videos. They are great and very helpful!
