This place was on my bucket list and I finally went there with my husband one day. I wasn't only amazed by the price but I couldn't believe how good the Chicken Club Sandwich was.

For 3.25, that's really good. Everything looks pretty tasty, especially considering the price. 👍🏼

LOL! Okay... I'm sad now.

I just moved back to Canada last year after 14 years in South Georgia. I’m in Sarnia right now and I’m sure to hit this place for relief from these atrocious Canadian restaurant prices. I sure hope Gales lives through the Pandemic here in 2020!

With the way inflation is going right now I will be very impressed if they can keep those mega-cheap prices going.

Funny, being from the USA when you said it was like the 80s and school lunch I immediately thought you were going to say it was garbage food. We used to have McDonalds day in school in the 70s and 80s 2 times a year and everyone looked forward to it because it was way better than the school food. I remember when taco pizza came out at our school and everyone got sick. Turned out it was old freezer-burned pizza that they didn't want to throw out so they smothered it in taco sauce. Good stuff... We didn't have any regulations or watchdog units back then. This food and the atmosphere brings back good memories from the 70s and if I'm ever there I'm going to stop in and grab a bite.

Love Gales! I had a roast turkey sandwich (nice roast breast meat, not cold cuts). I asked for white instead of dark meat and she didn’t even up charge! I also had apple pie and ice cream, pretty sure it came to about $1.75.

It's cheap but the restaurant itself is extremely dirty. I sat in one of the booths on day and made the mistake of looking into the area at the back that's exposed when the seat moves away from the seat back. Ugh. There was years and years of crumbs in there. The smell was sickening. I couldn't eat my food when it arrived.

i live here in philippines where can u get fish and chips like that for 130 pesos? (3.25 can dollars) or brewed coffee for 30 pesos? i went to a place yesterday it was 60 pesos (1.20 us dollars) tell me where
