Hi , I am planning to buy a Rexton ynd it is 2 months old , and there is finance on it the 0% offer from KGM, how does the ownership change wotk, i am planning to pay all at front .

Hi, sorry for the late reply! If I understand you correctly, you're looking to buy a used (2 month old) Rexton. Sadly you can't take out the 0% half and half deal on a used car, it will need to be new. However some of the recent deals mean that new prices are nearly the same as used! It only weighs 2.1 tonne. A 3.5t load would be pushing this all over the road. 2.2litre engine is also going to be working its guts out towing 3.5t. This (and to be fair the majority of cars that are rated to tow 3.5t) won't actually do it safely or easily.

Hi William, in actual fact it's not just about the total weight of both vehicle and trailer so much any more, but more about the distribution, leverage and electronic aids. The Rexton has been tested at Millbrook proving ground by VOSA specifically to ensure it is safe to tow 3500kg and our customers can attest to it being more than possible, but comfortable! Engine wise, technology has enabled us to reduce displacement while increasing power. For example when were towing 3500kg back 20 years ago, the LR Discovery 2.5 TD5 had 300cc and another cylinder more displacement, yet it produced just 135bhp. The Rexton is now a four cylinder 2.2 that produces 200bhp with max torque arriving at 2000rpm, so it's actually a very relaxed and efficient tow in comparison. Give one a try, you'll thank me later!

It's a very nice luxury SUV, hence the comparison. Not quite sure it's that difficult to believe.
