How is the truss rod adjusted? There doesn't seem to be any access to it on either end of the neck.

there was an adjustment at the heel...vintage style. It actually cracked the fingerboard when I adjusted it though. Trash!

Roasted maple is more fragile but that shouldn't have happened.

@@dubsguitars I would say that is quite rare. I regularly use necks from this supplier and I have never had that happen.

Dunno the only real reason to fit a skunk stripe is to cover the truss rod cavity he didn't show the heel end to see if there was adjustment there so all bets are off.

Yes, you are. That things got crazy flame, shiny frets (SS?). It looks nice, but that's obviously not what's most important. Let's hear how it performs. Some work on it is expected at its price, but if it's solid and stable, it's a great deal.

I think they misunderstood you which expected. People are to quick to answer without thinking. Yes I like non roasted necks especially with flame and people have been brainwashed to think roasted is visually and structurally better, which they are not. Isn’t scary how most thoughts we have are not ours but something someone put in their, this is why people dress alike and speak in cliche.

They're really not at all. I am a builder and I have used necks from Warmoth, Musikraft, Mighty Mite, etc. These are not quite to the same level of quality, but they are about 4X cheaper. However, they are certainly not 4X less quality. These necks are amazing value, and rarely need much work at all. The most I have had to do to one is adjust the truss rod a bit, and do some minor fret dressing.
