    @@drejackson1000thanks so much for your time doing this video. I’m doing my car soon, my first LS swap. Trying to figure out what some of the components are on the engine. I’m first going to ID the block VIN and year for sure- then go from there. The two lines (with silver locked ends and black braided runs) on the left side of the truck intake are the fuel supply and return, correct?

    Very clean and impressive.. this is how it’s done when u do ur research and put in ur own work.. too many ppl complain about bein jerked around when they don’t even try to do research.. great job, later on u can upgrade to an lines for ur fuel.. it makes it way easier with maintenance and cleans it all up

    Bro this is gold. If you want to just do a swap you show exactly what you need to get to have it happen. Nice build. The hardest part for me was the transmission crossmember mount had to get it fabricated but it all worked out.

    The carbed LS build in the caprice on my page has the same issue with the PS closeness to the pump, but it works fine. Great job on the build brother

    Get you some wire cover for the fuel pump red wire. Wire is going from here to there and has alot of scrub points that will cause fraying.

    So glad to hear you mention be careful with those harnesses 😂 I drove myself insane with one of those. The car DID crank and ran crazy which drove me nuts trying to figure out why. Ended up the harness was pinned all sorts or wrong. Fixed the pin outs and now it's perfect but it was way off

    Looks decent. 2011 camaro water pump and tensioner will allow a lot nicer looking upper radiator hose. The outlet is on the driver's side where it ought to be.

    I was looking for this comment. One of the headers looks like it’s physically touching the spark plug boot. Run it too long and it could melt through then start arcing. Much respect to the build though.

    Looks like that number 3 spark plug boot is touching the header. Think it will be problems later. Good stuff. Sounds good. I've heard a swap like this costs between $5 and 6K so great job.

    Hey man I just checked out your video, I have plans of doing my first LS Swap on my 76 Chevy short wide this summer. Your video was very informative and inspiring. Do you have any plans of doing any more swaps also what would it take to hook up the speedometer and the RPM gauge? Ive been looking at buying a high mileage suburban, tahoe or a silverado for cheap and rebuilding the engine so i will have err thing I would possibly need.

    Great job sourcing those parts for good prices! I saw a couple of you spark plug boots touching the the headers, you should get spark plug boot covers for those before the boots melt. Maybe even dimple the header to make some clearance. Burnt spark plug wires create weird driveability issues. Good work.
