Zeek, I used to watch your videos a lot when I was using EOS M with ML. I even introduced your channel to Japanese enthusiasts on my weblog. Recently I realized you have not posted any video for a while and I am concerned if anything might have happened. I just want to know you are doing OK. Hi zeek. Do the tutorial how to denoize footages in mlv app. Because over 800 iso they are noizy. Or when trying to increase exposure to +2, shadows becomes noizy.

Great video and lenses, Zeek. The color and the definition that comes out of these little pieces are amazing. But I personally think that you can shoot great video even using a bottom of bottle as lenses 😁

Those dark floral shots are unreal.

Besides that the camera is shooting 4K and the cool vintage lens. You can’t deny Zeek is a great photographer/videographer 📸🔥

I saw on the ML forums that a new SD card overclock patch has been released that makes many cards (not just extreme pro) now shoot at 80MB/s. Some people have commented that 3k mode is now a viable option, along with 5.2k anamorphic with dual ISO. I think the 3K mode could have huge benefit to image detail quality, and 5.2k dual ISO possibly having big dynamic range boost. Would love to see your thoughts on them in an upcoming video. Danne's build has got a quite a few updates over the last few days so maybe best to wait a few more days for the quirks to be worked out in an upcoming build.

Amazing video as usual! I still have not sold my EOS M and have used it quite a bit on a recent trip. What I most love about it is the size... stripped down to the bare minimum it's just so small and fun (and powerful when the need arises). It got way more use on that trip than my A6300... ;) Any more videos in the works?

No one mentions it but the EOS M has one of the best camera strap systems. So easy to add and remove and it's real sturdy

Thanks for another brilliant video. I use these lenses with my EOS M too. Up until now, I’d shoot them with HD movie crop mode to avoid vignettes but I want to give them a shot with your RAW settings. Are you using your usual recommended pixel sizes? Thanks for all your hard work! Excellent shooting!

Hey Zeek! I just stumbled upon your videos about the Canon EOS M. I just had 2 quick questions I was hoping you can answer. 1) I currently have a Nikon D5300 with a Sigma Lens and an 85mm Lens. Do you think it would be worth investing in the Canon EOS M with a few good lenses for photo and video? Will I see a difference with the the Canon EOS with ML vs the Nikon D5300? 2) Is there any other Canon camera that works well with Magic Lantern that would be step up or improvement from the EOS M? I am pretty sure that I saw you use external monitors, so did you have this problem? The one I used is the FEELWORLD F6 Plus.

Yes there will be vignette even in 1080 for the 50mm.

Hi Zeek, love your hacks and im considering the purchase of a EOS M. Secondhand the pricepoint for the M1/2/3/10 all seems to be €150-200. Would you recommend any newer successors over the original M1? Or is the combo M1 + ML still better than any of the newer models?

Question: In your earlier videos about installing Magic Lantern you gave us a folder with a couple of files. How do we install the latest listed here. Like to upgrad but am unsure how to go about it. Thanks in advance. Love your channel.

I understand you’re using the Kiev lenses, that’s great. I recently purchased a C-Mount zoom lens, and tried a 3x crop with 1080p mode. However, the record button doesn’t work. I thought something wrong with the camera and powered down and on again. Still the same record button doesn’t work issue. But when I change to Canon 50mm f/1.8 in 3x corp with 1080p mode then the record button works. Ah it worked I thought. Again once I change back to the C-Mount zoom lens, surprisingly still the record button doesn’t function at all. Feeling quite strange to understand how come for a normal lens the 3x is working and not for C-Mount zoom lens. Am I doing anything wrong here?

First of all, thank you for all your work with your videos. It has made me want to buy a canon eos M but I am undecided as to which lenses I should use. These cine lenses look amazing, but since I already have two FD CANON lenses (a 50mm 1.4 and a 70-210mm f4) I'm not sure what to do: whether to buy these 3 cinema lenses or buy a wide angle FD to complete the series that I have already. Based on your experience, what could you say about these two different types of lenses that can help me decide. Thank you once again, Cheers!

They are 35.5mm, but sometimes the filter ring Adapter doesn't fit.

Have you tried some infrared video? It seems like the EOS-M series is the body of choice for budget IR conversions on ebay. Such versatile little cameras.

Zeek, thanks for everything here on YT!!!! I wanted to ask you, why I am getting very noisy footage on low light situations. I understand that noise should be there but I am getting a lot of strange colored noise. I always record videos at 2.5k or 2.8k, 24fps, 1/48 shutter. Any quick advice? ..i have the latest magic lantern

Yeah, TTArtisans 17mm F1.4 or 7Artisans 25mm F1.8. Otherwise, Sigma 17-50/Canon 17-55 with a speedbooster.

I would say absolutely... EOS M with Magic Lantern is cool, but a very intensive enthusiast endeavor and I feel you'll have a lot more success with a ZV-E10 for what you want to do!

Hey Zeek, I have been looking for EOS M cameras but there are so many versions out there. Could you explain exactly which cameras the software works on to shoot the 5k raw. I've found some EOS M international versions but don't want to purchase something that won't work. There are EOS M50-200+ kinda confused. Thanks!
