"strap in, sit tight, grab a beer, if you're not old enough to drink a beer...sorry" LMAO. Dialogue sounds top notch at the end - nice job

Tbh if you want a permanent budget solution buy parts for accoustic panels and build them I did it and it came to $40 per panel. Don’t buy the cheap foam ones they are trash they only absorb high end frequencies but if your accoustic panels are 20+cm thick it should be good. Standard is around 60cm wide x 120cm tall x 20 thick Wood frame, foam insulation (wall rock) I think it’s called or rock foam and then a thin cloth to cover it. What your doing is only creating an air gap so it will only absorb the high end frequencies and not the low as the low passes through and bounces back off the wall through the blankey again. Basically the reason why it’s still echoey is bc your a guy so you have lower frequencies in your voice and any music with bass or low sounds can still passYou can also buy accoustic panels for 40-500$ per one so go look online you’ll need about 2 per wall at least and they hang like massive picture frames and look good - I’m not an expert but I’m a music producer and trust me it works that’s what I’ve done

Good stuff bro, thanks for posting the process for this..going to give it a shot! Are you planning on doing an overhead blanket? Or do you only need to do the sides?

I def need to do an over head blanket but I don’t think it’s going to be possible in my space unfortunately. I’ve been trying to think of ways to do it but it’s not looking like it’ll work lol

I envy you your high ceiling! if you haven't already, maybe a video could be about low budget and DIY solutions for rigging things light lights overhead, maybe without just wasting wads of gaffer tape to stick things to the ceiling and tearing off paint... This week in my home studio I've set up my first green screen backdrop (6'X9') and want to light it up with an RGB pocket light or two bulbs with green gel from above, mounted inside a 3' X 1' X 0.5' cardboard box with the flaps like barndoors so I can get good light separation between foreground and background and with an even spread over the green screen. But what ways of mounting haven't I thought of and which cheap supplies would be best. I'm considering how to make my own wall-spreaders, but the ceiling is like 15' across. Maybe I'd better just order another set of backdrop stands to hold a pole across to clamp lights or a mic to... (I'm reaching the limits of my budget for the time being is why I'm thinking what else could be done with tape and recycling before crawling back on Amazon.)

Is it a drop ceiling? You might be able to mount to the supports!

@@MacOlink no it's just a big 'ol flat ceiling. I'm sticking some velcro tape along the molding right now actually.

A vacuum is sound proof, this is sound treatment. If you want to be precise you'd call it, "sound deadening". Good day
