    I've got to be honest here, I never have seen an instance in my 65 plus years of carrying a knife where I had to chop with it. I know that in edge retention tests sometimes they are taken to the limit which I'm pretty sure that's what you were demonstrating, and they both lived to do it another day. I own both a Bugout 535 and a Dozier and would not feel lacking in normal performance duties with either one. Actually, I own two Dozier's, one in AUS8 and a better comparison to the Bugout one in D2 and love them both. Thanks for sharing!

    I do like the action on the benchmade more, but not for $130 more. That's not enough to justify the cost difference in the knives for me.
