I know Chai Truck (????...thanks a lot auto correct) I know CHEAP TRICK enjoyed a good amount of success in their heyday, but I still think they're one of the most underrated bands of all time. Great tunes, incredible personalities, fabulous showmanship... these guys had it all. I'm glad I grew up with CHEAP TRICK on the turntable!

You know some people who are not in the recording industry might not realize this, back then Cheap Trick, Journey, Reo Speed wagon and others were on a real wide touring circuit, also keep in mind you didn't have sophisticated sound technology behind the scenes working to keep the vocals crisp and clear like you have today during a live performance!

They headed a bill with The Fixx at Radio City Music Hall in New York City in the 80s. What a great show. Ric Nielsen was his entertaining self and Zander of course was the sizzle to make them a steady popular act with the ladies. Just a great show they put on. One of their all time best here, even if it's the production version.

That is the studio version recording from the Dream Police Album....... very fun though... awesome band... got to see them at the 2nd Annual Day of Rock n Roll, New Orleans Superdome late 70's Line up: Eagles, Foreignor, Cheap Trick and Christopher Cross. I was 14 with fake ID ordered from a ad out of Teen Beat Magazine.... drinking KFC bucket size draft beers getting ripped...lol those were the days...hahaha

Oh, man, they're lip synching like 99% of every musical performance in TV history. Between Robin laughing at how ridiculous Rick was being, Bun E. knocking over his cymbals and then saying "eh, screw it" and beating the hell out of the one still standing while Rick kicks the one on the floor. That's entertainment. Great video.

most television broadcasts are lip synced because the producers don't want accidental mistakes which would cost more money redoing the takes, and not many have the guts to let it go live. They care more about the network and budgets than whether or not the artist/band looks silly. It's really unfortunate because so many bands like Cheap Trick are better when they are live.
